Hi bro, looks like you are new to trading, you are not aware that there are many ways to manage risk without STOP LOSS or even take profit. if you want ill write 1000 words in simple English for you to read and understand the basic concept about how trading works. also next time do message me directly if you want to ask some thing to me. before runing a discord or a some shiity channel make sure TE is attached as proof, if you dont have real money atleast show DEMO account.

I get why people panic when they hear about someone trading with no stop loss, because in this industry most of the time that phrase means reckless gambling, oversized lots, praying for a reversal, and eventually blowing the account, and yes that has given trading a really bad reputation, but it’s not fair to assume that every trader who doesn’t use a fixed SL is automatically reckless because the truth is stop loss is only one of many tools in money management and risk can be controlled in different ways, sometimes even better than with a traditional SL, and this is where people misunderstand because money management is about protecting the account from being destroyed by a single move, and that can be done through lot sizing, balance strength, equity protection, scaling positions, and profit handling, for example if someone has a $10,000 account and they are trading with 0.01 lot on gold, no matter how much the market swings against them the account is not in danger because the exposure is tiny, but if another trader has a $1,000 account and uses 1 lot with a 10-pip stop loss, technically he is using SL but one spike wipes ten percent instantly, so who is safer in that case, the one with an SL but crazy exposure or the one with no SL but tiny exposure, and this is why it’s misleading to make SL the holy grail of risk control, because in reality lot sizing is the foundation, now think about balance, institutions survive because they keep a big base and low risk, they might sit through heavy drawdowns but they don’t collapse because their exposure is small compared to equity, a retail trader can follow the same principle, the bigger the balance and the smaller the lots, the harder it is to blow the account even without an SL, and then comes scaling which is another overlooked technique, instead of one big position you can break it into smaller entries, if the market goes wrong you cut one or two, if it goes right you add, that gives flexibility which a fixed SL doesn’t, and then there is equity-based protection where you don’t close trades because of a random pip move but because the account has hit a drawdown threshold, like saying if equity drops five percent everything is closed, that’s still risk control but on the account level not the trade level, and in volatile markets like gold and indices where SLs get hunted all the time this actually makes more sense, and beyond all this there is profit handling which people ignore, a smart trader can trade without SL but secure profits by withdrawing regularly, for example if you make twenty percent in a month and pull half out, next month even if you take a hit you already locked gains, that’s risk management too, and honestly many traders who worship SL still blow accounts because they misuse it, setting stops too tight, getting hit over and over, re-entering and losing more than someone who simply used a micro lot and let the trade breathe, so stop loss alone is not a safety net, it only works if combined with lot sizing, balance discipline, and overall money management, and this is the big picture people miss, so when someone says they don’t use hard stops it doesn’t always mean gambling, sometimes it means they are using a different structure of protection, because imagine this, if you have $100,000 and you trade 0.01 on EURUSD with no stop, can you realistically blow your account, no way, but if someone has $1,000 and trades 0.5 lots with a 20-pip stop, they can blow it in days even though they used SL, so who is really safer, the balanced guy or the textbook guy, and that’s why I say the best approach is layered, use SL when it makes sense, but also use small lots, strong balance, scaling, equity protection, and withdrawals, just like a car has brakes, seatbelts, airbags, road signs, not one single thing keeps you safe, and the truth is the term “no SL” has been abused by gamblers and scammers but not everyone fits that box, there are traders who don’t rely on hard stops but are way more disciplined than the ones bragging about always using them, so at the end of the day don’t judge risk management by whether someone puts a line at 20 pips, judge it by their consistency, transparency, and how they handle drawdown, because SL is just one tool and money management is the whole toolbox, and that’s the real difference between a gambler and a professional.

I genuinely wanted to share my posts here in good faith, not because I am trying to mislead anyone or push some hidden agenda. The whole idea was just to put some thoughts and experiences out so that people could read, agree, disagree, debate, or maybe even learn something new. Trading is already a lonely business where most of us are sitting behind screens all day, and forums like this are supposed to be the place where we exchange ideas openly without suspicion. But honestly, from the tone of some replies it feels like certain people here are not really interested in discussion, they are just looking for a chance to attack, doubt, or create drama. That makes the environment toxic and discouraging for someone who actually came here with the intention of contributing.
When I write something, I’m not saying I have all the answers or that my way is the only way. Everyone has their own methods, their own comfort zones, their own risk profiles. What works for me might not work for someone else, and that’s fine. But instead of engaging in healthy debate, pointing out alternatives, or even challenging ideas respectfully, what I see is people jumping to assumptions, throwing accusations, or making it sound like every post has some hidden motive behind it. That kind of negativity kills the whole point of sharing.
It is frustrating because I honestly thought this forum was different, a place where experienced traders and new traders alike could post ideas without being judged right away. But it feels like some people here are more interested in discrediting others than in actually learning or teaching. I never claimed to be perfect, I never said I am a guru, and I never forced anyone to follow what I write. I just put my perspective out, and it’s up to readers to take it or leave it. Nobody is obliged. But when every attempt to share is met with doubt and hostility, it doesn’t make sense to keep putting energy into it.
So yeah, after seeing the reactions, I think it’s better I step back. I genuinely wanted to share my posts here, but it looks like some people are here with other motives, not to grow, not to discuss, but to create unnecessary tension. And I’m not interested in wasting time on that. I would rather focus on my own trading and keep sharing with people who actually want to listen and discuss constructively.
At the end of the day, this business is already tough enough without the added negativity. I wish everyone well, and I hope those who are serious about trading continue to learn and improve. But as for me, I’ll not be posting anything more here.
