well I think we will experience .50% federal rate cut and that's gonna print some green candles all the way.

Longs taken via limit orders and manual placement overnight. Expecting yesterday's move to continue after a significant pullback/liquidity raid. TLDR:

Note: I am a retail trader, so your mileage will definitely vary

I am BUY today,
Why?

  1. Massive buying by large players, despite positive RETAIL SALES yesterday.
  2. Huge purchase of call options with strikes of 1.20-1.22 by large players yesterday.
  3. The largest ever block trade in Fed Funds Futures this morning.

There are many strange stories like those, so I'm betting on BUY, even to hit 1.2000 this week
But, it's just for fun

Update: My new "nearest" support level on H1 is now 1.1844 (as long as candles open above it I stay bullish)

*I made some simplifications and a quick clean up on previous chart...

Not in any trades currently
Looking for long positions.

I recon we will get an initial spike down to 1.16900 area. Liquidity grab (Sharks eat first) Retail traders are tricking us with propaganda busy setting the stage.
LONG JUST SEEMS TOOO EASY!!
Still believe buy the rumour sell the news,
From there i will decide which way.
I think it best to only trade tomorrow, because Powell's speech will F everything up
Waiting for trades is OK. Most People spend their life waiting for nothing!

I think EUR/USD will go up after the Fed decision

So I'm in BUY
market already pricing in dovish lean. But don’t be surprised if there’s a spike, then a pullback.

Last year’s Fed cut was a reminder:

everyone was bullish, then the market flipped and EUR/USD dropped hard into early 2025. Easy to get caught on the wrong side.

Unfortunately wrong on my next 2 trades where I tried shorting. I am not comfortable longing before the news since we've moved up so much and the majority of traders are still short. I have a short entry at 1.1996 if we get there, that's roughly where this resistance line is (This is a weekly chart)

Price rejeting from the 4h FVG, love the reaction presently. Entering a long setup after a close of that candle. Targeting the session high and Swing hiigh
