daily open hold and there is set up.

i posting too much and i am at work today , so will not much post during day time.
Yesterday is holiday so i am free to post whole day.
not signal, just my personal view and area for possible to trade with.

IMO, In a given TF a valid BoS must have the following two characteristics. (According to the post 1)

  1. sweep of liquidity (LS)
  2. Break of the swing point (origin of the LS)

hence, 1 and 2 are valid BoS to me
3 is not valid, because no swing low and LS

for those who has problem in seeing swing high and swing low, put on a fractal indicator. mine is a 3 candle fractal. mt4/5 has a 5 candle fractal.
if you have problem in seeing levels, put on the moving average indicator to 1.

fractal high low is to see trend direction.
candle open and close is to see support and resistance.

here is a daily level to monitor confirmation entry.
market open -> htf level -> monitor for confirmation entry
no CE -> no trade. move on to next htf level.
repeat, repeat, repeat.
isn't this is trading all about?

only 3 things to focus on. no complex indicators.
if you do not find this simple enough, then i do not know what is more simple than this.
we have specific levels to focus on trades, not jumping all over the shop like headless chicken.

This is the most important point, but No. 3 also has a swing high.

No.3, since you marked the BoS for the downward break, I would be paying attention to the break of a swing low. Swing high is for the upward BoS.

IMO , the swing initial the move more valid for bos.
we may not get sharp entry but high probability for the successful trade.
if the stop too far, reduce the lot size.

ITB, we are not talking about HTF or market open. we are discussing when to consider the right BOS because sometimes there is a BOS without a liquidity sweep .
Can't we consider this a BOS

Senior mentioned a very good point "origin where price started moving up..."
To me, that means the breakout is valid because next few candles show price move down and close lower.

For yours, there's no real break on #3 because the price closes back up.
It looks more like consolidation.

Yes, I remember this post when you were asking if it was a breakout or a fakeout, the same question was on my mind.

I can only say stick to the rules at all cost. Rules once broken can lead to a can of worms. Next time one can say this BOS can, that BOS also can. BOS are all over the shop. Like that, no difference from other traders who does need any rules to trade.

Yes, without rules, there are no results. To emphasize the rules, you must ask about them and the context around them.
I don't like to trade gold at ATH.
Yesterday, I was trying to catch a move on GU and waited so long to see any swing low taken

Realize that market is uncertainty.
Accept you can be wrong about market.
Be patience and be discpline follow the rules for your edge.
Practise your method until your eye can see without marking many line.
Be confident when your edge come.
Control your emotion when you are wrong.
Be reality that you can't get rich overnight in trading.
Treat it as a serious business that require time to build.
Sometime you will Drawdown or losing streak but is ok if you stick to your rule.
It is part for trading.
