yep i am from delhi capital city… my grand father was farmer turned army person after the partition in 1947…. His all wealth went to pakistan….
my parents did regular jobs when they bought their assets in capital were dirt cheap…. Now as i mentioned in last decade things went crazy… if youre are middle class in north that means you’re upper middle class or borderline to rich if you compare with other places… thats how crazy it is ….

If we talk about success with prop firms you only need mindset to plan your success with prop firms….

it wont come overnight but plan n take action based on your personality. You’ll get it… as you guys have seen from day 1 when i was a noob i started posted and it took 2 year 3 months to be here at this point. But its nothing just the plan falling into place after alot failed attempts and learning lessons from them and most importantly doing something about them.


As i always say what works for me doesnot guarantee it’ll work you…
see as an example all the profitable traders here have their own system in place thats suits their own personality and which they polished over the years like @pip way or the others….

eventually everyone thinks different, have different emotions so better than copying someone adapt to your own self…


Also this is not just relevant to trading but every aspect of life …. If want your dream physique dont just go starting pumping weights needlessly instead based on your body type figure what what things will make you attractive for eg broader shoulders or thick thighs etc…

plus you need one important additional thing: you need 95-98 % of people using prop without get any cent win from this, or the gaming style prop (where you win from the fees payed ) will not work. so when more people would win, the whole prop industry would fall in parts (even cheating with marketing and faking with rules changing will not help anymore in this case)....

I think it's possible you may be slightly mistaken about this, or at least about your conclusion arising from it, PropDude.

It's a hugely misunderstood subject (by people living in other countries, who've had no particular reason to study Indian demography) and all the misapprehensions are continually reinforced by the media, especially online.

The population of India is staggeringly huge, yes - so much so that the very small proportion of people there who have reliable internet access and modern technology, and speak good English, and have bank accounts with bank-cards/credit-cards (these all tend to be overlapping groups), even though it's a very small proportion of the population, is still an enormous number of people.

In other words, what you're saying about "a huge population with no money", though it's a valid observation in itself, is also, in some contexts, a statistic from which it's really easy to be misled! I hope nobody minds my mentioning it.

Used to be in a minute, then a few minutes, then an hour, then a few hours, now 16+ hours and no sign of the money. I see some people in discord saying they've been delayed as well but others are saying they got paid in a few hours.

maybe they are pushing alot of changes this weekend ??? lets hope so you'll get it......

finally got the payout, took 24 hours this time. Hope it's a one-off. Anyway, last legs for me on tradeify after my country's ban. Will try to hit as many payouts as possible.

I'm having trouble finding a suitable risk management system for futures trading, as I've only traded CFDs so far, and I always calculate my position size based on a percentage risk based on my balance times the distance to the stop loss. However, this doesn't seem to work quite as well with futures, as the position sizes are standardized and can't be divided fractionally. So, even with a mini contract for the S&P 500, it would always be a minimum of 1 contract ($5/point). So, in principle, you always have to set your stop based on a predetermined maximum number of points, and it's difficult to set your stop loss based on a technical level, which could be higher or lower depending on the entry setup.

How do you do this? Can anyone give me a good basis on how to optimally manage my risk with each trade when trading the S&P 500 with, say, a $50k account?

thats not true. CFD have no base currencies change hand because you never get a delivery date reached! delivery date its always rolled over to next day and get so never reached (TOM Next ) , so you only have the differences as Currency change hand.

this has nothing to do with broker is counterpart, LP or anything, its just how CFD is build as a product.

1 contract of the e-mini S&P is $50 per point ($12.50 per tick), not $5 per point.

You're thinking of the e-micro, perhaps?

The starting point, with a prop firm "$50,000" account, is to understand clearly that the actual account size is $2,000 or $2,500 or whatever the account-loss drawdown level is. Clearly, if you lose that, the account’s gone, so that’s the account size, isn’t it?

If I wanted 2% risk ($40 on a $2,000 account), I’d see where the chart predicates my SL should go (for me, that’s just beyond the last swing-high/low but that‘s just what suits me, I’m not telling you to do the same, obviously!), and work out my position-size on the basis of a $40 loss if my SL is hit.

Both the people I know who easily passed “$50,000 evaluations” ($2,000 accounts, really) traded 2 lots of MES ($10 per point), and took their time.

I think the mistake to avoid is using too-big size through being in a hurry. That’s surely a way to fail even when you have a genuine edge!?
