Will wait and see.
Does this H1 candle confirm the breakout from Daily TL.
I am sure that we will be up testing 1.16850 again before long so ill wait to place a short then.

Would a break below indicate a trend reversal? a decent break below i mean not just a test.

CPI is out, I've changed some things from my analysis for now. I'd like a sweep of the CPI low, and price to come around my new target area at 1.16560 and 1.16420. Then look for longs as I said.

BOOM! EUR news Got me some nice pips by heading south and USD news got me another nice Green Pips to the South, I was on a rinse and repeat before the spike up. Lets see if the bulls can be trusted from here

Brothers and sisters,

It looks like the price has reacted to the support level of 1.16750, this still respects the bullish channel if we zoom out, therefore I am only buying at the moment. I am expecting soon the 1.18 , in every low from now i’ll buy.

Staying up till news was not really worth it as I could have just placed pending orders and I ended up losing out on double the pips tonight by letting my emotions win over and over trading during the consolidating phase before news but I did really learn a lot from it so I dont consider it a loss as Im still green for the night and it really just taught me to stick to my trading rules, so many times ive had to learn this lesson but I think it will finally stick this time lol.

However, if I were to get on board right after the news, even if I were right, I would be killed by the massive spike down.
Spike -> -28pips down, then -> +61 pips up within 15 seconds !!!
This is what I am scared of when it comes to trading news...

H4 shows that channel lower edge was tested strongly but bears failed... Now back for a retest to 1.1758 area...

H1 was bearish but strong rebellion candle took out many stops if you didn't take profit at median line (~1.1663 area or 1.1666 devil's number)...

Overall: still shaky times... Careful until real direction shows! Takes time!
