This method of trading, although it can be attractive and even yield some profits, will definitely wipe out the account in the long run. I'm saying this because I've been down this road many times , and for those who are new to this method, it can be very misleading and dangerous. A stronger system is needed.

If you have a calculator, it's hard to burn... I rarely go over 10% max dd . I only work with eurusd , it moves between 2-300 pips under normal conditions and between 300-600 under extreme conditions... Knowing this data, you just have to do the math and calculate, based on your capital, where and how often you invest.

yes, blown account will tell you what you did wrong and how to improve next time. why anyone be scared of losers. accept it and learn from it and I see you have made a system that is working for you after blown account .. right ??

Finally find a post that touches the core of this strategy. With data, it works when you bet small for cost averaging with a good trading plan and a good position management technique. For EURUSD, you could also use USDCHF for hedge. That's EMA reversal strategy on EURUSD and 1% strategy on USDCHF.

In case it helps, as you can see in this impulse, I hold on to sales and don't increase purchases because that would be stupid. I wait for the market to give me an argument to buy again. In my case, I like to wait for it to close above/below the ema 20-mark. I hope it helps.
