pick a normal day trade.
do not pick one that explodes with news.
could be gambling or luck.

if it goes the other way, you got no time to react with those big spreads.
loss plus 20 pips spread.

go to FF brokers column and compare.
example icmarket gold normal trading for 0.01 unit spread 0.05-0.08 pips plus 10cents commision.
not many broker can beat that.

watch the dot line, internal liquidity.
sometime there is some liquidity but doesn't mean market will always reach there first.
it can be future target.
this is a hard lesson for me.
and this is what causing me lose opportunity to long gold since powell speech.
too expect market move same i thought.

0.01: gold for 8 cent and rebate 2 cent.
So 6 cents.

future is 0 commision.

took a screenshot when i left the house; now i just arrived and i was surprised nobody was in this trade? Probably i am completely wrong in my analyses but there was a htrf discount area from this morning LO, its pre nyse open, the 4 and the 5 was set, the ltrf discount area around 3550 (dont look at the fibs and the last ltfr discount area on the chart, i was in a rush) so why no entry?

I had the same area marked up coming away from the 1h eg and it even tapped the fresh am fix, but I totally missed it with doing other life stuff today. Also I wasnt sure which way news was going either. Looks nice in hindsight though.

not sure if i was correct but that H4 engulf candle at that time, violates the main condition 2?

pre market preparation drawing htf level OHLC SnR.
i am using weekly, daily, h4.
h1 for refinement where necessary.
as the day progresses, only the h4 and refinement need to be upated.

for the next 4 weeks, i am attending courses (not related to trading) on every monday.
nyse is the only session that i can trade if i am not too tire.

going forward, i am also not available every tuesday new york session.

having a life going for you is much more than trading.

the recommendation is for traders new to this thread.
it is for the good of them.
all in all your own personal trading experience have to to be taken in account.
do i have to come to the level of new traders in this thread to trade on my own?
do i have to provide reasons for all my decisions that i had made?
do i have to explain everything everytime?

now your attention had been shifted to me instead of on how you trade yourself.
are your trading experience the same level as me?
i am my own enemy, not anyone else.
the trades were taken way way before the news during london session.
it was not speculatively taken just a couple of minutes before the news.
they were in profit then and protected before the news, just in case you were over wondering.

i hope that you can be more polite in your tone in future.
you sounded that you have an axe to grind.
you are not asking questions to make clarifications but already had made your own assumptions and posting bold statements.

so far i had already shown enough examples by marking the conditions on the chart for trade set up.
to do more than what had been shown is more of the same things.
the 1st 200 posts are enough for traders to learn from and to review.
i leave it to you whether to continue with the training by marking on the charts and posting them here.
