Are you letting Flyer EA run on its own (Start and Exit) or are you making manual adjustments as it goes? Are you trading on all 3 pairs that have been tested so far?

Flyer! initiates all trades; I manually exit most trades.
This week I started to forward-test Flyer V200 on GBP. I have 3 trades so far. When I run a backtest on these few days - I got exactly the same results as my forward test. Entry and exit points were exactly the same, and total pip gain was also the same.
Now, data. I downloaded M1 history for past 7 years from my FXDD broker. So in all back tests M1 period was used for modeling. For the settings: I used Period M30 (!!!), Model: every tick.
Quite interesting....
Anyways, I'll continue to forward test, and see if there will be any deviation...

Download version 2 attached and save it to your computer. Program Files - (Broker Name) - Expert.
Close your Brokerage software and reopen it and it should be located in your experts area ready to go.

Hi, I'm new to this MT4. I downloaded the file in the expert folder and I see it, but when I tried to use it with default value in the GBP/USD 15 min chart, nothing shows up. Am I doing it correct? How does the chart looks?

The EA does not draw anything on the screen. Post #260 in this thread has some templates to get an idea of the MA's the EA uses. You can get a visual idea of the concept by adding those to your MT4.
I'll look into it further and see if there is a problem

Problem is a quirk with MT4. I resolved the problem by removing Flyer 105a from all my charts. I then closed and restrated my trading platform. After which I attached the version to my charts. So far it has not taken a trade during nontrading hours. Hopefully it will take trades during trading hours later tonight.

ok, it's not the first time I've found problems with MT4. Let me know if you still get any problems.
If you don't mind a 100 pip S/L on your Eur/usd, here are some settings that produced good results for the eur/usd on the EA backtested for the last year...

Late evening, just getting back to a digital contraption based on zeros and ones.
To answer your question, there's just something about trading 5 standard lots, live, on a relatively "new" EA that encourages closing when in profit!! Nothing technical about it at all.
On the other hand, today Flyer! opened one trade, shorting cable at 1.9758 around 12:30 GMT Tuesday 5 December and it immediately went into the red. I manually closed at a loss when it hit 9770 [oh ye of little faith MM!]. And as we all know cable moved as low as 9674, 80 some-odd pips profit had I let Flyer! continue. So, while I think this is a pretty good EA, the trust factor must increase. I do think Marci's on to something here which is why I went live.

I got into this short also. But I let Flyer decide when to close, and gained +20 pip profit... (well, I'm still on demo, it's easy not to do anything). Although If I would close it when I thought it'll be good idea to close it (at jut about 9685) I could have some 60 pip more... But still, sometimes I close manually, and see trend continues...
