But the love affair and false sense of security guns provide are more important than a kid getting his
head blown off by a AR-15...

So yes I stand by it,,, "Maybe, just maybe, one day Americans will love kids more than their guns????"

Thoughts and Prayers though seem not to be working... and if all that makes me ignorant in your eyes Lou
than your entitled to that opinion

One of the reasons I started this thread was for me to be able to voice my opinion without the Thread owner
silencing me... Now this is FF's sandbox and if they so choose to minimize my post or whatever... Thats OK I
understand they are a private company and I must play by their sandbox rules.

So with that said Perhaps I have made myself clear to whomever may read this.

I'm not here for likes or friends(although I have made good friends here) I am here to mainly post about
trading which I love.... to actually try and help anyone who wants to learn and in that process I learn too,,,

Now back to trading,,,,

Timings Levels Behaviour of Price....

What I like about the Initial Balance is the structure it gives..
Everyday is the same just different prices and different size ranges and extensions.

You know exactly when to show up for your session. Fixed times
You know exactly when and where to look for your trade setups.
You know exactly where to look for profit taking and as well risk management.

And another tidbit is that there is a ton of data available on the Opening Range and IB.
Edgeful.com is a great example.

All markets give the same setups only range/volatility change.

15min OR and 1hr IB gotta love it...the 15m is my preference but I will trade a 5m ORB
in certain situations.

This incident was very close to me for several reasons: 1. My cousin and his wife attend Annunciation church. He often goes to morning Mass during the week. Just didn't go today. 2. I am a former-retired Catholic school principal in the Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis. Have visited Annunciation school.. albeit ..years ago. 3. I am a gun owner. Usually go to the practice range on Wednesday mornings. Today, watched the news instead.
Having read the killer's manifesto and viewed one of his videos ... he was obviously insane and needed help which he never got. Let's see if someone was aware of his sickness and tried to help him.

I am very sorry to hear that Lou...My wife has been a teacher for 25 years and I cant imagine the added stress that she would
have to deal with in the U.S.... I was in the military and loved range days... and I believe people should be able to hunt,,go target shooting etc...
It's a complex issue and I would just love to see much better management in regards to purchasing and carrying...
It's been awhile since I handled guns in the U.S.,,,
Here in Canada...it's strict..yep we've had mass shootings and black market is out there if one wants a gun they can
find it... But much much more difficult here...

And I'm not sayin the US should be like Canada....just improvements have to be made,,,must be made.

And it's obvious mental health is at the core of these killers...Improvements can be made im sure in that arena too..
much easier talking than doing Im afraid...

I dont even want to read what this latest killer has said in his videos or what have you... Innocent lives stolen
What do children nowadays think when they goto school ? My children attended school in the US as well...We never really
had to worry about these things back then.....

You are right, price must breakout, it can't range forever. I makes sense, based on market logic
But caps must be filled... They might get filled but can't see logic behind it.

I don't mind some vendor fees. For example, I bought Al Brooks's trading course. Given the extent to which my trading plans are largely built on concepts introduced to me by Al, I'd have to say it was 1000% worth the money.

I pay a monthly data subscription to the CME for live price data. I have to pay it or else I'm at a disadvanatage trying to trade on 15 to 20 minute delayed data. So I don't mind paying it.

I say the Initial Balance/IB sets the daily range for 24hrs(+)
The high and low of that first hours trading. Sets these levels.

You can trade them alone as structure using PA techniques etc.
Or you can add some other professional tools to your toolbox.
Like VWAP..

VWAP did you know that it is an Institutional tool ? It is used as a benchmark for buying and selling
across the board. Large orders are broken up and VWAP is the benchmark price for execution.

Why would us retail traders not want to follow these breadcrumbs ?

Institutional trading algos use VWAP...Institutional traders themselves use VWAP and their
performance is gauged on "Is their avg execution price better than vwap"

As well the CME uses VWAP for setting daily Settlement price (close) they use it for options
they use it for price fixing Currency futures and Crypto...

We dont need to know how all that works ,,,we just need the levels and an understanding of them.

Heres some charts of Oil today... A very Institutional market...iikely the most important commodity of all
as Oil drives all so to speak. A true supply and demand market.

Enough talking some charts that maybe confuse you interest you or could care less lol... all good !

I just love sharing ! and observe where does the market turn ? IB levels and VWAP levels...
WHY ?? Well not because of us Piddly Retail traders

A little closer look at Crude on the 1min..

Using auction market theory of Fair Value Price discovery etc,
and adding a simplistic RoadMap (Laura's thread) entry method.
But with the bigger picture in mind..

While still on holiday watching the rain come down, I thought I would try a Demo Nas 100 CFD trade on a UK based prop brokers site ! Set a 15 minute ORB ( thanks Blue) to see what happened. I also used H/Lows ( 5 minute) prior to 8am UK time. Broke down nicely through the levels. These levels may coincide with Blues" vwap stuff?
Anyroads, I always look left prior to opens.
