Meanwhile, on H1...

Folks... everything is really distorted...

My anticipation (blue line) based on MOFU candle and my years of experience was that price bounces up somewhere above 1.1630... 1.1647 was my best candidate as it almost 90% of the time is... Opened my long right there.. but nooooooo!

After all these years, how the hell drops price even below 1.1630 blows my mind really... No bounce.. no stall... nothing... cuts through my levels like a hot knife through butter...

I leave it like this... will try to decide tomorrow what to do...

Calling it a day.. See you after London opening!

Im expecting a retrace up tonight during london open around 1.16560-1.16779, but its also possible it dips during london open then london and ny push it up into that retrace zone overnight and then tomorrow london/ny we see another move down, really just gotta wait till london open tonight to get a good idea of whats going on. It closed below fridays huge imbalance on the hourly so im not leaning towards a long from this imbalance anymore im staying bearish bias for now.

Posting about my terrible results today:

This is the 3rd time the market has taken me out perfectly out of nowhere just for price to continue as normal, my +120 short pips got taken out as a -16 pip loss on Friday (My entry 12 days ago was short at 1.172 and SL 30 pips but I ended up moving my SL), first time was July 16th and second time July 27th

Today I randomly put a order short for 1.173 hoping we would somehow wick up before dropping which we never got to (we got to my exact original entry at 1.172) then I tried going long in frustration hoping it would manipulate one last time which isn't part of my plan and lost -70 pips for no reason trying to randomly scalp 30 pips when my usual plan is to enter and risk 30 pips only on huge swing trades...

My original trade I was trading with 1-2 standard lot (100,000 units) so I know my account isn't big enough to be targeted but it's devastating to me still..

Such blatant manipulation, they stole my short and then I helped fund their short trade which is beyond infuriating... I want to re-enter short but I don't know where and when this happens the market usually gives me 0 chance to re-enter because it goes in a straight line. My original short target from 1.172 was 1.145 (270 pips)

I need to edit my strategy in order to protect myself from BS like this so I don't trade out of frustration... if I can't do it I will quit trading

red lines are short fib levels.
green lines are long fib levels 61.8/100/161.8 - been bouncing nicely in between them most of August, rejected on Friday close.

Interesting that European continent currencies were weak vs. USD in today's EU down move around 11 a.m. EST while major APAC currencies were much less so during the same time. USD rate expectations have been getting the headlines, but the EUR part of this trade has its own dynamics that shouldn't be forgotten.

Cliché... Unfortunately that's (please no offense) the "novice" trader's mindset..

Markets do a lot of the things that seasoned traders often anticipate... I proved it so many times on these forum that you would vomit from watching my forecasting the repetitive PA again and again... I make pretty good profits just from those anticipations... I promise, keep improving your screen time and you might get there too...

There are patterns... repeating sections... calculated low risk areas... years of work in our brains coming from endless screen watching and tireless back testing that catches those areas...

When I say markets are distorted I mean thank God, rarely, "shit still can happen"... and it is okay.. BUT please allow me to wonder a little bit would you? Thanks...
