yes... usually RETAIL SALES had a significant volatility, but today it looked like everybody was on holidays.
Silence before the storm, let alone a weekend gap and on Monday we can see a completely different picture on the chart..
I was trying to short from 1.1705 but closed it all...

Quick WEEKLY Outlook

  1. Next week my resistance area stays the same: 1.1722...
  2. As long as bulls are trying to break above weekly resistance 1.1722, shorts are in danger and it looks like they will. Therefore, I will try to get rid of my short with any upcoming dips! If no dips come, I would get rid of the short order, as soon as I see H1 candle close above 1.1722! For now, no need to panic though.
  3. On the bearish side, 1.5550 will be my nearest support and while candles open above the steep trendline, the trend here is still bullish!
  4. BUT also notice that the whole huge channel looks like a bearish flag and sellers could kick in as soon as the biggest players decide to end this rise.

Price has been in an uptrend for quite some time. I believe it will eventually reach the purple line as the final target. Next week, there might be a pullback to take the liquidity of those who went long too early from the purple box. In this area, we could see a mean reversion. However a direct breakout is also possible, so it’s important to watch it closely on the LTF.

factor in that they are now suggesting going straight to apeace agreement, we have to wait until after Monday following the Ukraine/Trump meeting. Though I do agree $ags stronger

On the monthly timeframe we have a harmonic bullish Butterfly pattern active, followed by the bearish Gartley.
TP1 and TP2 allready done.
Will bulls make it all the way back up to the orderblock? If so, 1.2030 will be important.
