So, after carefully insisting in bearishness, as soon as M15 candle closes back above 1.16435, it became obvious to me that trend has changed back to bullish on this timeframe...

I switched to buying dips since that 2nd mofu candle closed above my resistance.. No selling while candles open above 1.1644...

*This also proves while acting greedy during news can be fatal! I am happy with my +10 pips decision!

Quite possible, am watching that myself. on 15M it created a double top there. But that is not enough confluence to suggest down. We'll need a good BOS back down to confirm it will. Price is currently above weekly opening gap and will need to break below that and London open for it to turn bearish again. But that's my view.

Edit: we broke above with a BOS so the probability we will turn bearish is low pending a news item that will boost the $

Yeah. Seems like I jumped the gun. Small lot size though, so can wait for some time to reverse. SL at 1.1730 (Slightly above resistance of 1.1723).
Lets see how this plays.

If this follows fibs, this should go up to 1.1745. I was focused on work so had to let it go. 1.170 is strong resistance at this stage.

I did not expect it to happen so soon, was still looking for a drop to 1.158 before buying,

Still side-lined as i really have no idea what this crazy market is capable of.

For me, the last two weeks have been a minor disaster. I misjudged the market, failed to notice the buy signals, and stubbornly decided to sell at 1.16018, today at 11:30-11:45. Absolutely stupid.

I too will keep an eye for politic interference BUT I just checked my H1 chart and I noticed a bottleneck at 1.1685...

Until bulls figure out to bypass or crack that obstacle, I think I still will keep buying dips to ~1.1645 area... I stay bullish!

the Supply zone is strong, I think the bullish movement this afternoon was due to the news... There's going be a serious bearish retracement overnight, a good opportunity to sell some Euros

EUR/USD Technical Analysis – Multi-Timeframe (M15, H1, Weekly) – August 12, 2025
Overview:

  1. Overall trend: On the Weekly chart, we see a strong rebound from the 1.0560 – 1.0600 support area, with RSI climbing toward 65 – signaling medium-term bullish momentum.
  2. H1: Consolidation after a sharp rally, testing resistance around 1.1720 – 1.1750.
  3. M15: Recent strong bullish breakout confirmed by RSI, but entering overbought territory.

Key Points by Timeframe:
Weekly

  1. Price is breaking out of a long corrective phase.
  2. RSI > 60 with widening Bollinger Bands → potential move toward 1.1850 – 1.1900 if momentum holds.
  3. Major resistance zone: 1.1800 – 1.1850.

H1

  1. Range formation between 1.1620 (support) and 1.1750 (resistance).
