Hey RiskFighter, I know you are a coder.
My Script is open source, I believe the code can explain it better than I could put into written words.

But let me know if there are things unclear (or even mistakes in my logic, I am just a hobby coder)

Hi Kalimac

I mean we should be Buying at Highs or Selling at new lows provided price has bounced off Resistance - see my chart below.
( Algo's help because they spoof the market on new highs & lows which supports breakouts ie. I want to see spoofing)

Here's an example of my trading NQ today during the London Session today. Generally it's slow on Monday which is a nice way to start the week.
My goal is to earn a wage every single night just doing this on ES / NQ or Gold. So generally I am targeting around $500-$700 profit to cover my daily expenses trading these 3 setups.

Here is three plays from my playbook. All three setups rely on being able to read the tape.

1. Fade Resistance (yellow)
2. Breakout of Resistance on solid Ask/Bid imbalance (Green)
3. Ask & Bid Flipping on aggressive liquidity runs. (Purple)

The secret of trading in my eyes is to trade off Resistance levels. So in a breakout, I want price to bounce of Resistance area and the I want to see the Tape support direction.
When price makes NEW HIGHS, we should be only looking for Buys and we should take trades above Resistance.

SKILL

This is what real trading skill is about, fearless entry's using supply & demand to TAKE THE CORRECT TRADES.

THEN

If during the process of earning a days pay with these 3 plays, I also see a Squeeze Setup, a VCP Pattern or a AVWAP play then I will take it.

Otherwise I just trade my 3 plays and read the bloody tape.

TW has now implemented an ADBlocker check. As I am not paying and use an ADBlocker, I am not allowed to use TW. I find that absolutely fair.
As I don't want to use TW, then I will not pay for it and it is now closed area for me.

But I think I am covered in the matter of squeeze intencity, because my indicator (uploaded here) only call it a squeeze if the Keltner gets outside the Bollinger. Then it is serious bussiness.

However I notice sometimes, that a squeeze only last for 1 or 2 bars. I might make a meassure that set some minimum number of squeezed bars in order to call it a squeeze.

Best squeezes happen FAST and if you want to partecipate in the move you have to pay the premium price since there is no pullback. By fast I mean the squeeze duration iseltf is around 2-6 bars, price and volume speed are also moving fast. Usually the move lasts only for several more bars, but the amount % in price change is large.

On the other side you have SLOW/LONG squeezes which have duration of 30+ to infinite bars. This is where most people lose as there are many fakeouts. When the proper breakout happens, supported by volume it usually offers a retracement, the first pullback is the best entry. After a long squeeze, the move is steady and supported for longer time.

Personally I am using a normalized bollinger band width, which I find more appropriate and sensitive to the extremes (on both sides) and when the volatility starts to rise, compared to the TTM squeeze. Basically it compares the width to prior compressions/extensions instead of local atr bands (keltner channel) as TTM.

I will not use TW though. Am very happy with MT4 and I can make whatever tool I like there.

Hello, I have finished reading this post and I really like your helpful spirit. I would like to ask what this squeezing strategy looks like. I don't know what the black dots and red dots mean. Sorry, I did not see this post. When you refer to black and red dots, that is on the trading view tool, not the MT4 tool.

Another MT4 tool: The BollingerMomuntum indicator. I developed this a long time ago, but never got the hang of using it. However together with the RF2_Squeeze indicator it is beginning to look nice.

 

  1. RF2_Squeeze identify when the Keltner channel lies beyond the Bollinger channel. This happens ONLY in a squeeze situation.
  2. The BollingerMomuntum indicator identify if the Bollinger bands are widening. That is another way of identifying a squeeze.


So now we have two indicators that identify a squeeze in two different ways. RF2_Squeeze will show the start of the squeeze and you should manage to trade before the squeeze end. The BollingerMomuntum indicator then confirm the trend that occurs after the squeeze. See this at the attached chart.
The dark green colour shows that the Bollinger is still widening and the trend is intact. When colour change to light green, it is time to be onguard for an exit, because now the Bollinger bands are not widening anymore. So here we have an exit tool.

So MT4 users use this recipi:

 

  1. Using the RF2_Squeeze to tell you that a squeeze has started. Now you must follow the situation.
  2. If you get a nice bar breaking the EMA21 in the trend direction, and the EMA Trend Ribbon is arranged right. And your own further analysis are positive. Enter the trade.
  3. When RF2_Squeeze ends the squeeze, check that Bollinger Momentum start show darkgreen bars.
  4. Follow the darkgreen bars and exit when bars get light green. The exit signal might sometimes be false, but hey - you've got some nice pips and there will be other trades.

I hope Machin and Rick think I got this right??

I use myself additional a Momuntum indicator set to 12 - recomendation from Rick and a Stochastic indicator at 6,3,3. Only invest when price is close to enter OB or OS.

I have shared and the rest is standard MT4.

I do not share templates. If people cannot easily make a template, then they should not trade.
