that looks majorly over complicated.....

Unless every single indicator on your charts you can point to the exact reason they need to be there try stripping back to a more plain chart and go from there, I really struggled when I first started and thought the more indicators I had the better I would do but found out they are all conflicting and added more confusion than clarity...

I hope it helps, I'm far from doing this full time but I'm giving it my best shot and taking each step each day

Inflation & Fed Outlook
February’s CPI expected at 0.3%, with annual inflation at 2.9% and core at 3.2%, slightly lower than January. While easing, it's still above the Fed’s 2% target, likely keeping rates on hold. Gold Outlook

Hi I'm Suleiman, for some reason I'm interested in your message. So I'm going to tell you the most common mistake beginners make and all this so called "gurus" won't tell you. And this is it: Before you even sit down to think "what strategy I'm i going to use.?" The answer is this: NONE. First you need to learn how the market works and I'm not just talking about pips, base and quotes currencies, NO, I'm talking about how the markets work. I'm going to say it again you need to learn how the market works: who are the market makers, why do some traders buy low and sell high, why do the smart traders buy high and sell low. Is good that you found a community full of traders but be careful who you take advice from, truth is i hate seeing people giving bad advice and i have just given you two glimpse of what my trading STRATEGY looks like. Remember there's a fine line between gamblers and smart speculators, DO NOT cross that line.

Hi, Brand new to forex trading, well any sort of trading to be honest. Always have been interested but didn't know where to start (I know there are millions of YouTube videos but its working out what's good and what's not) I was advised about a course on Udemy by a friend at work. i done the course to get to know the basics which i now have. I am wondering where else do people get more knowledge from? Very keen to gather as much as i can at this time while still running with a demo account. any help would be greatly appreciated guys. thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice guys. yeah that's basically what I'm looking for, things that have worked for others in the past to get into a good position instead of spending time watching videos on YouTube that make no sense to the level I am at.

I would say that position trading is more suited to larger accounts. It is mainly what big investors do because they cannot enter larger positions all at once, they have to split up their position and enter (and exit) over time. This means that they have longer term strategies that require a directional bias. Whilst this type of trading can yield profits everything is dependent on getting the directional bias correct. If you get that wrong, there can be massive drawdowns
