Started testing a new EA with adjustable risk and margin control. It's performing decent so far on multiple pairs, not just gold. Happy to share test results.

Just taking a quick look at one of your US30 trades entered on 19 August 2025 @ 45213.87 and exited on 23 August 2025 @ 45313.87. It appears this trade would have been in some severe draw down before it turned profitable after 3 days. Are you not using a stop loss with the EA and if that is a yes, how do you determine when a trade is a loser and to close it?

Hi Ozzie, thanks for the comment and for taking the time to look at what I post. Yes, for my personal trading and my personal EA, I tend not to use a SL when trading U.S. indexes. I cut losses when I've hedged them enough or when there is a certain change in the trend.
Good morning to Fortyfive20 and everyone on this "Trading Initial Balances and EA" I have been reading a lot about this trading strategy for years and finally few months ago I stumble on this thread here on forex factory, which I've read completely and I really which to get involved in trading it myself on my real account, but my issue is that there is no MT5 version of the EA.
So I wish and hope that Fortyfive20 could come up with the same EA for MT5, as I really desire to get involve.

September was a pretty good month trading initial balances. For those that have asked I trade manually. My lot size is based on a dollar amount I want to get from each trade and bout a 10 pip target. I don't use stop losses when I buy and that's also because I know how much drawdown I can handle.

Good Stuff, I also trade ranges...you trading manually but you are promoting ea, why not show results with ea?
I bet you will have much more customers if you will display work of ea via charts each day for the next 10 days with the same set.
