wrong chart it seems as the reasoning for entry and exit is misguided. more of a basic approach is needed all of the complexity is getting in the way.

I was talking about the timeframe..
Yes to complex for me I like simple things
I am no one who am I to say anything about your methods of trading. I trade this strategy everyday and have no problems though I am not interested in talking about them. Its a good one its never failed me.
I think you are on the right track though good luck..

First test from 2015 to 2025.07.20, EURUSD:
So, profit factor is pretty low (1.1), decent recovery factor (1.89), sharpe (1.53) and drawdown (9.25%) risking just 1% of the balance on the SL, 1:500.
The problem is the performance curve, it shows reaaaaaally long consolidation periods, from 2015 to 2017.07 you don't really start pumping, then the ATH is on 2019.07, and you're doing nothing but wasting time till today.

This is also with the BEST optimized fibos: entry at 75%, SL at 5% (yes, big) and TP on 105% (ratio of 0.42). but that's the best result, the rest of combinations were loss or really poor (much worse) curves.

No further tests in EURUSD since i don't think it worth, gonna try with something different like gold, will be back!

Edit: made the same test on STANDARD and RAW account, RAW has 0 spread but 6$ comission per lot, STANDARD has just spread, it performs a bit better on RAW, but of course the curve is the same, it just earns a few extra bucks.

Sorry, GOLD returned NO profitable combinations in 10 years backtest, testing GBPUSD now, this is probably more a forex tradng strategy.

Update: so sad... GBPUSD had no profitable fibo combination, no profitable at all, testing other pairs, will be back when i have more results.

*Sigh* first test on EURUSD gave me false hope for this system, the rest of assets gave no profit or really low profit.

GOLD and SILVER, ... loss.
AUDUSD, NZDUSD small profit (basically an eternal range in growth curve).
EURUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF and US500 at least gave some profit, but curves are also terrible for long term (like ranging 5 years to finally pump a bit and then other 3 years of ranging).

try on gbpusd and eurusd and stick with those pairs

What criteria did you use? Buffer, stop loss, take profit, re-entry, entry on opposite signal?

The programmer made some improvements. Added Martin. Opening an additional deal in a week.
