Short @ 1.16315 i recon we may still see more upside to 1.16450 so i have my SL @ 1.16480

Short positions here look to be a bit more risky than 24 hours ago:

* No further USD strengthening on higher-than-projected retail sales and lower-than-projected jobless claims data today July 17.
* Fed governor Waller, a hawkish but data-driven voting FOMC board member, arguing in favor of a July Fed rate cut in remarks tonight July 17.
* Market overhang regarding ongoing tariff negotiations going into an ECB decision week next week. (No rate change expected from ECB on July 24, but follow-on press conference can easily drive volatility.)

Adjust position size, holding period, and stops to account for higher projected volatility in the next 5 trading days.

Managed to get another Short in @ 1.16249, Since i had a TACO moment at 1.16315(kick my ass) closed at BE. SL moved +2 pips I recon if they break 1.16200 may as well take the profit.

My 2c is todays trades will be range bound - No news, May be wrong.
My levels of resistance to watch out for are @ 1.16604 and 1.17200

Current candle has not closed yet... Could become a breakout candle... I will try to short 1.1618/22 area if breakout happens...

EURUSD got support from the daily trendline at 1.15800 and returned back in the parallel channel and has created a descending triangle on H1....
the market sentiment on weekly and daily is bullish but on H4 we a bearish but currently on H1 we had a change on character in h1 favouring bulls .....
RSI on weekly has returned back below 70 suggesting bearishness on long run
Fib 0.618 (1.15925) is working as support
US tarrifs on EU will take affect on August 1
And markets are pricing in 0 cuts from FED on upcoming meeting

You definitely have more patient than I do. I should probably learn from you . Anyway, Short at 1.1615 SL 1.1652 TP 1.1572

H4 Trend still bearish ATR 38
Key Resistance levels: 1.1625 - 1.1640 - 1.1660
Key Support levels: 1.1595 - 1.1535

No news today + Friday = another dull consolidation day. Get ready for range bound trading!

I am also impatient. For now, I am betting / hoping on a range‑bound movement between 1.1580 and 1.1630. Therefore, I have just gone short with a tight stop‑loss.

SL 1.164, TP 1.1585
