No change to bearish thesis. The headline was shown to be noise in less than an hour. We get yet another USD economic data point again tomorrow morning. Seems likely it'll continue to reinforce the no-imminent-Fed-rate-cuts thesis.

Since candles opened above 1.1630, I am bullish and I stay bullish as long as candles respect 1.1630.. Simple!

I am stuck in a Short @ 1.15800 with no SL not sure whether to take the punch on the nose or to sweat it out,
And unfortunately i upped my lot size on that one 0.5 i am sure that i can ride it out, but the headache that comes with it, eish..
Also don't want to lose good profits I made the week so far, Today i caught 2 pretty decent shorts on the way down,

Hedge a Long until it comes down?, I see the market going up?

I am also confident that the PA is still Short 1.1520ish, but considering the Resistance levels passed going up I am unsure
Level 1.16210 should be retested, Ill see what happens there?

Always size positions for historical & projected volatility and for expected holding period.

Trump headlines are pure noise. Even if he could fire Powell (he can't), the C in FOMC is for "committee." Powell gets just one vote. Memes aside, he doesn't and can't make the money printer go brrr by himself (nor can his successor, no matter who Trump nominates). The FOMC is bound by statute to its dual mandate. It answers to that statute, not to the executive.

Exchange rates are controlled by banks, not by grumpy dudes on forex message boards, and those banks don't stay in business by positioning based on noise. They do however slurp up retail money that positions based on noise.

depends on your strategy my friend. you are good with shorts. the trump dump was not expected but expected lol. it was meant to trap high buyers so it's up to you

Im sure you should take the decision and no one for you, if you think you take a good action you sould keep it but if the resistance level has blown im not sure, you are the only one who can decide. Good Luck
