I don't understand how the basic EMA strategy works; I only know the countertrend from the first post in the thread.

the first entry is a countertrend anticipating a bounce off ema200 which fails and he is immediately caught in a tough trend - subsequent entries are also countertrend - the advanced topic highlighted in this trade is how to recognise being caught in a tough trend and how to recover from it which he achieves when he closed all positions as price returns to ema20

when price stalls on ema20, he anticipates that the downtrend he got stuck in will continue, this is a trend continuation trade entering on a pullback targeting the previous low, which is considered to be an advanced ema strategy trade

these trades are expected to start moving favourably almost immediately, and when they don't as in this case, he doesn't add to losing positions and looks for an exit well before initial target as soon as a profit is reached - there was no clear signal to close the trade, it was closed using his discretion based on his feeling of the market

the last audusd trade was a basic countertrend trade
