If ICT released his private 2016 mentorship, wouldnt the methods become ineffective as retail is already using the methods?

swear it is common knowledge ICT it a fraud, some of his tactics may work but its just rebranded basic strategies. he has shown no proof of profitability and everything he sells can be learned for free. he made frequent claims he has a market reading algorithm and said he would donate profit to charity yet never did. new traders beware please don't take everything you learn from him at face value.

ICT is fraud in a way, the concepts are fundamental but nothing very deep. For example, imbalance or orderblock cannot be seen in candle charts, only with bid x ask footprint charts, and if you put some imbalance/ob lines using ICT, you will see that it is not always the same in the footprint...

I don’t believe ICT is a fraud. His presentation style can be challenging to grasp at times, but his concepts are certainly capable of delivering profits. While some ideas may not be entirely new, he offers a fresh perspective and presents them from a different angle.

Yes, there is a real concept in ICT, but its mediocre. The way he explains fair value and orderblock makes this clear. The concept makes sense but the explanation is very superficial. There are better and more precise ways, and I say its fraud because of the way he tried to push and sell this concept. He sold his 'private mentoring', nowadays I don't know if he still sells anything, but really, its possible to being profitable.

I dont trade ICT, but I know what some ict concepts are based on, like orderflow. I trade PVSRA and orderflow, and if im profitable with concepts similar to his but with a more logical and biased explanation, I believe that anyone who trades ICT can be profitable...

I'm not an ICT fan but I would suggest looking at his teachings (and that of others) and just taking the bits of information that suit you, or that you can prove have value by testing yourself. It's mostly just classic price action that was around long before he was. And keep things simple.
For example, 'fair value gaps' are a hot topic in trading at the moment, I made a tool to show these on the chart so I could test various strategies around FVG's. In the end I find they work best as a simple direction indicator. When a green gap appears look for bullish entry's on other strategies, vice-versa when a red gap appears. This isn't the way most people are using them, but as you can see in the pic it works pretty well as a direction bias indicator. You'll only discover things like this by tinkering and building your own strategies, I wouldn't recommend just blindly following someone else, just take their stuff on board and then
put your own spin on it.

3. Re-enter after liquidity run
4. Risk management

It's been proven many times, including when he was caught photoshoping his results, denied it, got exposed with irrefutable proof, then changed his narrative to "I did it as a joke". People, if you're new to this, look up imantrading on youtube to get the truth about ict. After that, you have to be a special kind of stupid to not realize how much he's a fraud

I understand that there are strong opinions about ICT, and I’ve seen some of the criticisms, including those raised by ImanTrading and others. That said, I prefer to focus on the concepts themselves rather than the personality behind them. Many of the ideas ICT teaches are things I’ve observed in the markets independently, even before encountering his material.

Whether or not someone agrees with his personal conduct or trading history, I think it’s fair to say that his content has helped a lot of traders develop a more structured way of looking at price action. I’m not here to defend anyone blindly, but I also don’t think dismissing everything based on controversy is productive. I’d rather test the concepts in real time and judge them on their merit.

It's the psychology of failure. If you deep down expect to lose, you'll tune in to those that enable it. Reason doesn't play a part.
