I did put in some long. I believe bulls are pushing towards 1.15616 on the H4 TF. Time will tell

I am marking 1.1490 as crucial support on M15

As long as M15 candles open above it I leave long orders open...

Technicals are all good and well until they get wrecked by new fundamentals. Lots of geopolitical risk brewing at the moment in the Middle East.

USD weakens, EURUSD pair rises. On TF H1, Bollinger bands expand, and RSI has entered the overbought level. Today waiting for the US economic data on jobless claims and PPI.

Quick H1 Outlook

  1. Bulls are good while above nearest support: 1.1511/18 (blue zone)...
  2. I rinse and repeat buying dips!
  3. My current long order has been activated with help of M1 chart when price was at 1.1516...
    *If any rebellion candle forms (i.e. if H1 candles close below 1.1518), I will get rid of this long order...

Although overall trend is bullish, I believe a retracement is due as price has overextended as per H4 CCI and met with daily P1 resistance

Going short at 1.1518 SL 1.1568 closing the position if H4 closes below 18 EMEA - trailing stops with each high of H4 candle

switching sides once I get stopped out. Go bears! (for now)

Quick DAILY Outlook

  1. As soon as I checked the D1 chart I realized that ~1.1510/20 area is highly crucial today...
  2. Therefore, I closed my long order with little profit just now...
  3. From here on forwards, maybe bulls will not be able to climb higher... We must be careful! (Potential double top!)
  4. No selling but also no buying for me... I will wait and observe the reaction around ~1.1510/20 area!
  5. FYI: As long as H1 candles open above 1.1510 you should stay away from scalping or risking shorts!

Nice... fresh breakout occurred on H1.. I am marking 1.1521 as new "nearest support"... While candles open above, definitely no selling!

Meanwhile, on M15...

Just as an example to show how foxy and reckless robber banks are, tricking traders with an intentional "close below" candle immediately followed by a long candle that should not give traders the chance to close and reverse without damage! Banks intentionally develop strategies to create these damaging setups!

I am still working on protective measures for these sucker-punches, because they are the biggest threats to all trading systems!

*For now and at best, my strategy would be to quickly accept that kind of damage, close the short and immediately open long order along trend but close that order as soon as damage is recovered. Later, I would try to properly enter with normal rules because luckily, sucker-punching happens rarely.

*On example below, I wasn't short anyway since H1 chart saves me from selling... But I had to close long order just to later witness that trend was actually continuing. I only mentioned it to show that this could also happen when I was selling! This way or the other sucker-punches can always cause damage.

They just need liquidity, and if they can't find it with other big banks, they often use retail traders as their dinner.
Mostly it is a time STOP LOSS orders are wiped out.
They are not "robbers"... they just need someone to sell or buy from them

Sorry for off-topic folks...
We use the term "robber" banks because in the end you as the trader FEEL the exact same way as some owner who just got robbed.

Let's say, he took all necessary measurements. Has put the most expensive locks on his property. Even hired a team of security. Put cameras on various corners. Maybe even worked days and weeks on scenarios to prevent theft. But then some robbers come with the most sophisticated ways and still steal your valuable goods. How does it feel? Sucker-punched!

Whoever gives me those feelings can be rightfully called a "robber"... (Of course we will keep improving too)

Anyway.. we better continue posting around EURUSD..
