Hello Traders,
I use IG Markets
My method is price action using support resistance news market sentiment and trend.
I usually scalp in the session only very rarely hold and swing the Dax
I will start this thread today I will come back to it from time to time.
When I feel the need to trade I will add here.
I welcome everyone to put their 2 cents worth in here I don't see many threads pertaining to CFD Dax trading.

Hello to anyone reading ...
As I mentioned I trade the Dax futures CFD version it is a continuous chart.
Does anyone find advantages to trading Dax with different types of Dax charts?
Example RTH charts or?
One thing I do is use the RTH charts to monitor gaps as these have a tendency to eventually get filled

Regarding the above stat's, some of the best tips I've heard from a seasoned trader was focus on your risk not your profits and never bet big according to your account size.

Does he see this move to US protectionism as the catalyst? Curious.

It was some thing I saw on X, things you read online eh!
Yea the SPI, it has in past been a thron in my side some sessions like watching paint dry not great.
In saying that this game is all about patience and not losing your cool.
I'm trading the AUS200, it all depends on the session, I try to just make a few bucks on it as quick as possible then stay out because it has a time decay on the volatility.
Then go out and do some things as in have a life then see if the Dax offers any possibilities.
I don't do this year round because day trading constantly for me has an adverse effect on trading performance.
At times I need to leave trading all together to keep the mind in an objective mode.
Having any bias is an account killer.

Quite a bizarre one today Monday gap up to ATH's
Then no buyers for 300 pt glide back down
Not much of a signal, just a scalp short on logic and some candle formations breaking levels.
Price action not based on the market but anything new Trump says haha

I've learned allot from last Dax session in regards to price behavior.
Sometimes less trading and more observation is needed in prep for next time a similar situation occurs.
In the end classic gap close took place = no buyers above at this point in time.

The U.S. said it will cut tariffs imposed on Chinese imports to 30% from 145% while China said it would cut duties on U.S. imports to 10% from 125%.
