It’s bizarre, what goes on with your threads. It’s just insane.

The point you always miss is that in loads of your other threads, some experienced people here have explained in some detail what you’re doing wrong and why, and some have even offered - in many cases with extreme tact, in the circumstances! - to help you.

But you just ignore them all, and continue to post garbage "systems" for ever.

Are you doing it to try to win a bet, or what?!

It’s totally weird, but it looks like he just doesn’t!

Look at the chart he posted on the previous page. He’s put rings around the little bars and he’s written “See the open and close outside the channel? The entry is on the close of the next candle.”

He just hasn’t worked out that at the time of the close of the next candle, you still don’t yet know whether your signal bar opened and closed outside the channel, because the channel hasn’t yet reached it.

I don’t know HOW he can not understand that, but clearly he just doesn’t.

It’s like everything else he’s posted here: he’s played about with some indicators and found something that happened to have 4 or 5 trades that worked out well, with hindsight! - and thought “Yes, that looks profitable, let’s post it as a ‘winning system’.”

This is why none of them works at all: they’re not based on anything real.

- cherry picking the candles, ...

- above SSMA High is MAHi
- below SSMA Low is MALo

That statement is true, unless I have not understood well your system, jamesagnew.

Due to the -2 displacement, how do you know JUST NOW how the next candles will look? How you do you know JUST NOW if they will be above, below or between the MA's ?

Am I saying something stupid?

Haven't I understood your system?

An additional question if you do not mind: What template should we choose, the one in post 1 or the one in post 19 (update TTT)?

You're overcomplicating it, just use a 1 period MA on close shifted back 1 bar. If the close is above the line you sell and hold until the next bar, if the close is below the line you buy and hold until the next bar. 100% winrate what could go wrong?

the only thing i would say is , you need to wait for the close of the next candle to ensure the trade

because it could repaint f you dont wait for next candle after the close past ema

with this new template, look for the close past the line to enter

and exit on a 15 min colour change and wat on new signal

final update

if the open and close below the ma sell

open and close above buy

there is no perfect entry

as long as the open and close are above or below the ma then enter and hold until there is a open and close in opposite direction

this is ok now

use a 40 pip stop and 40 pip exit

black candle open and close under the ema sell, open and close above the blue candle ema buy

only exit with 40 pips happens over and over again

im using USDCAD

1 hour timeframe
