I have been sidelined to the EU for over a week and half. My system wasn't reacting well and the sideways movement has explained why- price wan't going anywhere. Entered short at 1.388 with tight stop but I think we may see 1.4 again where I should have waited for price. Imo a possible liquidity hunt topside before we head down though sellers maybe afraid of triggering the bulls too far, hence- tight stop.
Imo this is the current battle being fought and probably wont be resolved until after Friday's NFP data.
The monthly falling TL has been broken topside which is quite huge, however, for a true BO as we all know PA will usually speed away from the BO point before the correction back to the TL. Without that starters momentum this appears to be a FO that will fall back into the bear zone. Typically with such BOs it will support the opposite direction, in this case using the new high to gather momentum for its path downside.
Here we have what looks like an hourly H&S gathering (I think previously mentioned in the thread) but most importantly it is happening on the falling monthly TL.
Just personally though, I don't like the too obvious- it inspires liquidity hunts and in some cases complete reversals of expectations.
