You are not alone, 95% of all traders lose money or quit. There is nothing wrong with trying and not succeeding in trading. Success in trading is a veeeeery tall task.

Do not feel bad! You are definitely not at fault here. Just deal with your debts and accept trading as a hobby and not the way to make a living. Cheers!

It is remarkable you were able to talk about your addiction so openly. I think you are a brave person. What I could add may sound very obvious, but I think it is good to have certain red lines. E.g. never borrow money to trade. Until you have clear understanding of what you are doing, do not put your fix income (from previous job) aside. It might be wise to have a coach to help you deal with your system.

I’m sorry to hear that. Here are a few thoughts for you:

1. Family who abandons you over money isn’t really family—unless you’ve done something evil. So don’t stress about it. A man’s role is simply to support his wife and children, or parents, and others, when resources are sufficient, and there’s no shame if they aren’t; after all, we’re just trying to earn money by honest means.
2. Restructure your debt.
3. Keep working or find a job—be paid as a ‘government or corporate slave’—if you don’t yet have enough capital to start your own business.
4. Treat Forex as a hobby. Use a small amount of money to sate your speculative urges in a prop-firm account, and avoid live accounts. Treat speculation like what it is—pure speculation—with very tight risk controls.
5. Even if you fight and lose, you will still be honorable and respected for taking the risk and taking action. Don’t pay any mind to lowlifes who only talk but have never traded, 97% of people in this industry are not traders—be proud to be one.

Deposited 100 and made upto 400 and end the day with just £2. All just happened within 8hrs yesterday.

Thinking a lot realised that I am not trading to make money , just for the sake of the thrill.I am profitable but no stopping until all blown.

This is addiction, stopping now and forever.

Fuck yah I will regain control.

I think you know what are the issues you have. You're overtrading, don't know what you're doing, and you're just gambling. This is the hard truth. Right now, I think you should stop pumping more money, because you will just be the liquidity for other traders. When you are in urgent need to earn money, you will never be able to have a clear mind. When you are trying to trade but you haven't truly know what are your edge and your trading strategy, you're doom to fail. Please go and clear your debts and earn some reserve for your trading account and some emergency cash before you start trading again. If you don't want to waste time, you can learn some trading strategy and do your own research while you clear your debt and earn some cash from other jobs first. Don't be strong headed, listen to what some kind souls are telling you. You need a break from trading now, otherwise you're just going to waste more money and dig a deeper hole for yourself.

Pick yourself up, don't be too hard on yourself. I guess every trader have had a hard patch of obstacles before they become successful. Nobody becomes successful within a few months. It will be a long journey of self-discovery. Guess how I know. I've been done all that, all the mistakes, all the blowing of accounts,...
