I will be testing 2 M15 strategies next week taking baskets and repeating. Here is what one did last night. It took 4 baskets trading all 28 pairs at .1 lot.
Will run both of them all next week to see which one or both get left in the Strategy Trader.

Hi Gene
Are you still going to do away with the close all funtion that restricts, closing trades.

Today I wanted to close all trades and had to do most of them manually.

I use the "Close Trades" button to close all open trades.
For this to work you need open charts with the Strategy Trader on the pairs you want to close as the close signal will come from the Strategy Trader on the chart.
I have made one change in the next Manager. The spread restricted closing trades that had too high a spread so I have removed that from the code so the spread no longer interferes with closing of the trades. This was interfering with my basket repeat function so I changed it in the next version.

1: Turn off all pair buttons
2: Turn off trading time buttons
3: Click "Close Trades" button

I don't quite see what your saying, what am I missing?

I am going to rap it up for the week, here are the 2 pair groups I was comparing.
Kind of a flat week with only a couple of days doing any moving.

The Manager was designed for the standard 6 character Forex pairs. Its better to trade the stranger pairs and index pairs with separate EAs, as there are many of those around. I think you can make plenty of money with the present Manager and Strategy Trader.

Wow good trading Gene, better without those chf pairs, what time in Wisconsin were those baskets opened, reason I ask your time is we are on daylight saving etc, it's simpler for me to work out from your time lol

I am on CST with daylight saving around Madison, Wisconsin. I start every week 1hr and 5min after new week starts. Around 1600 or 1700. Then just let it trade 24hrs non stop.

Bad week for me on a live account running Strategy 4. See below. Had a good start with basket closures and up 2% before a third basket just missed on friday by around .05% then went negative 3.2% which is what I had set as a global closure. Wondering how the slow stategy people went? thinking of switching back to that next week to see if it's possibly better. Will analyse the trades over the weekend to see what else I could have done differently.

the indicator/ strategy should be good

here is one of them i tested - it gave me an average of 1.3% per month for last 9 months, eurusd 15min with 34 pips sl/ tp. but i already own a better one than this - so i stopped renting.

Looks great Gene!

any chance we can see V9 manger before start of the week? I like basket trading but having to reset after each closure is kind of annoying especially as I tend to miss them due to the Timezone. This feature is really welcome!
