Here's an example of risk mgmt using current situation on this pair.
We are clearly bullish (yes need correction, so you're looking to buy dips)

1hr EURUSD
Price comes down 6am, indecision here - blue rectangle. Your entry is in this area.
You're looking for example, 1:3 RR
I didn't come down much into area of retracement but it did hit it and flew back up.
The 161.8 extension could be potential TP area, there's your 1:3.
With these massive moves, maybe use smaller lot size to accommodate larger SL but if you go down to lower TF's you'll get a better price, you're already waiting for a correction and buying from that. Really depends on your risk appetite and you take it at your discretion...

Closed all my buys. Im looking to go long around 1.13040 back to 1.147; 1.2 (is still in focus). If H1 closes below 1.1245, I will switch to sells.. If trade war continues, I think we could see another bullish momentum.

Holy heck, this part regarding relying on H1/ H4 timeframe vs m5/m15 as a really stressfull ones really got into me. This is the best piece of advice I've found so far, as i tried to work with the latter, completely missing the big picture.

I like to have all the timeframes or as many timeframes as possible give the same signal, and then I buy/sell from the one-minute timeframe.

I see short opportunity here, and if I enter will absolutely leave runner past first take profit (in picture)

Better if market hasn't take liquidity from under the red level (in picture) hasn't took yet

Watch if market absolutely destroys this green level, then just skip (edit didn't destroy short looks more favorable now, just some scalping with tight stop losses)

better close it at break even right now or close whatever trade is showing profit. just because market condition is not good, anything can happen. don't cry if price make a sudden pike and go the the moon 1.15~16.
