thanks wicker for sharing your system...its look very promising for profit....i will forward test your system as what you have mentioned for two months for me to expertise the setup in your system.....form my back test from april 2007 because i cant go any further as there were to many arrows were in the chart if i went more from that point....i have got a good result.....thanks again....

An example of a trade that would not be taken, even if the conditions were met. Why? Because a large move already happened. By the time you would enter the trade a move for 24 pips already happened in the last 15 minutes. Also if important news comes out, you don't trade this system against it or you don't trade the system at all.

If you want to turn of the sound alerts right click on the signal arrows and choose the option to turn of the sound.

Hi Wicker,

First of all, thanks for the sharing and contribution. I am a great fans of MA and I like the colourful set of your system with many useful information. As a newbie, I have some questions and I hope you can help me.

1) What happen when you see the signal alert first and then later (after 15 minutes) the Guppy MMA and Laguerre. If the whole criteria setup takes about 20 minutes to appear do you still follow the trade then???

2) I notice that you have included other indicator that does not form part of the trading criteria e.g. slope direction. What is the slope direction for???

I hope you can understand my quesions.

Your questions are written in the rules already, but here is the explanation again.

1) The answer is no. All the criteria must be met at the signal bar or one after, otherwise the trade is not taken! If you take the trade without these rules applied it can eventually go your way, but even so many times it won't go. So, trade as said in the rules.

2) Slope direction line is for orientation and exits. I use it for exits when the trend was taking long time and was rising or fading slowly, trending. (long time here means about 4 hours)If a move happens quickly I use pivot points for exits.

Hi Wicker

Could you tell me what we do if there a sell signal from the red arrow and all of the conditions hit but the Lagurre is deed under 0.15 like pic?
so we enter trade also or no

could we enter if all conditions met but the price stands on a R/S points

Here is your entry points for the picture you gave me. The first entry point is an example of a great signal. We are looking for these. If you look at the rainbow you see the MA's are contracted, and if you look at the entry #2 you see the MA's are already expanded. What this means is a large move has already happened and price is now looking for a retrace. A good trade is when the rainbow MA's are contracted and heading in the same direction, we see this in Entry #1.

Both entries were profitable if you took the proper exit

Entry #1 = from 2.0285 to support 2 at 2.0220 +65 pips

Entry #2 = a very risky trade, since the guppy moving averages were expanded. This should be common basic knowledge to most of us, that if this was the case, price is looking for a retrace or will be moving more steadily waiting for another move when the moving averages contract more. 2.0232 - 2.0220 +12 pips.

I have zero faith in EA. In the older days when trading currencies was still played only by the big boys everything had to be done on paper and per hand. Now we have computeralized all our systems and indicators. I believe this should be enough for automation. We only have to watch and click buy/sell when all indicators agree.

I'm wondering if there is anybody who trades Euro with Trend Follower system. Or maybe this system is more profitable when are traded in more mobile pair like GBP/USD?

Euro works good. Please remember that sometimes you might not get even one signal per day even if you are trading 6 or more pairs at the same time as I do. Patience is needed as in any other system. It is better to take 2 perfect trades that will move your account balance higher, than 15 false trades.

Quality above quantity!
