Get out button closes the trade or trades at break even, I think thats how it works.

The get out button can only be activated when you are in the RED" or "DD".
When activated it will get you out at BE.
If you are positive or negative and just want to get out you can use the "EXIT" button.
Be sure to turn off that pair button in the Manager first so it doesn't open a new trade on that pair if the conditions are still met for an entry.

Thars Great, how many days was that particular basket open Gene ? im guessing from posts the 18th march till the 21st
what time, your time, did you switch on Manager ( I'm five hours in front in the uk) new york open maybe ? cheers

I start 1 hr and 5 minutes into the start of the new week and let it run for a week when testing.

If live trading I let it run through the weekend as I just want it to trade non stop.

I am on CDST.

i got about £49 dd but as Gene says its normal, forex goes up and down

How are you picking the pairs to trade?

The next version of the Strategy Trader will be out the end of the week.
It will have 6 strategies ranging from slow and safe entry for long trending pairs and increasing to fast entry for pair that seem to swing back and forth more often.
You can test them and see which one fits your style of trading.

Strategies 1 and 2 will be the same as slow and medium in the previous Strategy Trader.
Strategy 3 will be a new one.
Strategy 4 will be a safer fast strategy.
Strategy 5 will be the same as the present 4 strategy in the present Strategy Trader.
Strategy 6 will be a very fast entry strategy.

Hi Gene

I dont usually trade CHF pairs, find them to erratic and unpredictable, so I am seeing if the results are different with them left out

I now have three MT4 instances going at the moment fast, medium and slow.

Cant wait to try the new strategies!

Turn on "Auto Snap" and it will start a new graph after 24 hrs is reached and it will then save the present graph to the files folder.

This is what Strategy 6 will look like.
It will work on any time frame and have 2 adjustable settings you can adjust at the top of the screen or preset in the settings.
