Hi Gene I have one in drawdown and I thought the strategy entered recovery trades, after a certain amount of pips.

Just closed its self for a loss, opposite star

The recovery only happens if it is in a trade and the swing point moves, then it takes recovery trades.

I am going to start a auto shutdown for the week today and see if any trades are still open by the end of Friday.
I am presently about an hour into NY on Thursday.
Here is what I am doing:

1: Turned off all PAIR BUTTONS in the Manager that have no open trades.
2: Turned on the 1 TRADE BUTTON in the Strategy Trader on each pair that has an open trade at the present time.

What this does is once an open trade closes it will not be allowed to enter a new trade and any pair that has no trade at the present time will not be allowed to open any new ones.

Its possible to have small losses but its the end results that count.

You can see there were several losses.
The AUDCAD doesn't count as I screwed up and clicked the wrong button closing the trade when it was in DD. LOL

You will notice that as I stated in a previous post I am winding down for the weekend with this test so any trade that was not ope I turned off the pair button and as others close I will do the same so no new pair trades will be taken. Add to trades will still function for any trades that are still open. I also have the 1 trade button turned on in the open trade so when it closes it will also be done. Will see how many open trades we have left by the end of Friday.

Hi Gene i got £41 profit but i have audcad running £11 in dd, not bad because i didn't get started till Tuesday i could close and I'm still £30 up, i was going to post a screen shot but my terminal crashed for some reason and reset the graph, one thing i have noticed is my stats page is not working right its showing a £557 loss on usdcad which is not right, do you have to reset it? also i would like to ask advise about when im running with all 28 pairs open if i click on something on manager there is a delay of around 30 seconds and the timer saying the local and broker time moves about every 30 seconds and it runs really sluggish, im wondering if its a broker problem im running xm broker, if i shut 15 pairs off it runs fine , Thanks Jon.

You need to run a filter using the Comment or adjust your Account History for the stats page to display properly. Right now it is showing everything in your account history.
Your CPU is over loaded slowing it down. I run 4 copies on 28 pairs without any trouble and my PC is 10 years old.

Thanks Eugene sorted the stats page makes sense, put it to one weeks history and all fine.
i get what your saying about the pc, but my laptop is running an i7 processor with 16gb ram it should be enough , i thought the same thing to be honest, but everything in the background is running fast i can open webpages 10 or 20 and they all function with speed , which if it was overloaded i wouldnt have thought it would do that, that's why im wondering if its a broker thing, ill try another demo broker and report back cheers

Fast worked the best at $202.00 the others a little less as they had fewer trades.
