RIght now I get a better idea of what you mean PIpsArt after you said observe that when price can’t break the last low and Heikin Ashi candles are bullish away from the ema then it’s an opportunity to counter. Thank you for the explanation, why couldn’t you have said this all along to begin with… then maybe people can understand more about how it works

What happens if you follow your strategy and you put in a buy here and it goes down and you keep adding positions but it just keeps falling down. In this situation it won’t go back in profit so what would you do?

if you got in a buy trade here thinking it would reverse back up and let you out you have no chance of it happening. I’m quite surprised you haven’t come across this situation seeing as you’ve already on phase 2 of your prop firm challenge. If you follow the cloud and follow the trend getting in and out of trades each time you will be fine. But what happens if you happen to get in here thinking it will go up but instead it just when straight down?.. or do you have a way to prevent this from happening.

brother it’s not about letting it go or not… explore all ideas and the. Use these at your advantage to created your own method. If someone is having success with a method and they are sharing it with us then why not?… all the stuff you post I read too.. it doesn’t hurt to know what others have to say, you never know it might help you too.

This guy has problems with everyone, criticizes everyone and doesn't contribute much

and.. And just today with the help of the system proposed in this forum and my 2 EMAs I managed to pass the funding test. I had never achieved it and this time I did it in 4 days.

Wow, I haven't really had a case like this. I could mention 3 things:

1. I only trade forex because currencies tend to be more range-bound, indices and gold are much more trendy and volatile make those kinds of movements so strong.

2. I would not trade gold or indices either because they have less leverage, if you need several open trades it is possible to run out of funds in an asset like that.

3. If you look at the chart, at the end of the day the trade would have been saved. almost 2 hours later, but he was saved.

I don't try to convince other people that the system I use is perfect, but it has worked for me, I had never had results like the ones I have now, I liked this system of adding positions and I simply put a filter.

Right in that case I will try the system on forex pairs currencies instead of gold... to be honest by the end of the day it did go back up a bit but I think it would have still been in a little loss as it didn't go back up more than 50% of the drop +.

The system would be better like before than by adding that new scalping RSI you have there.

You say gold is more trendy than currencies…. This is GBPUSD one you would trade. But look at the top it was a green bullish trend so you would have been buying. If you happen to buy just before it started to drop you would not be able to recover.. if you check the charts it never went anywhere back up near that level. You will eventually come across this and you can’t keep adding positions in this situation.

1. Find currency pairs that offer low spread.
2. Trade only during the Asia session or after the New York session ends because, at that time, the market is in a range.
3. Enter a buy trade when the market closes above the EMAs.
4. And enter a sell trade when the market closes below the EMAs.
5. And exit the trade when the market touches the 20 EMA.

"And other strategy experts can share their opinions".

i agree with everything you said apart from trade only Asia session. Yes Asia session can be a lost slower than say USA session but it doesn’t mean it just ranges. Infact sometimes the biggest trends happen in Asia session.

In my opinion there is no other choice to sit it out and have heaps of margin left over.

Also, indicators are just a tool to help, but they are all lagging. Iam paying around with the indicators shown on my chart. Will attache it to this post, try them for yourself if they help you or not.

But! I learn more by watching price while trading on demo. Just entering regarding the rules on page 1 of this thread and then trying to manage it.
And, Iam just focussing on one pair!!!! on M1 and M5.

Some insight. I accidentally used a limit instead of a stop order so was entered into the market a lot earlier than I wanted to be. Seeing as its 0.01 lot there was no panic if price went rocketing away against me. I watched price move away and on the first sign of it turning decided to enter with 0.02 with the plan to close BE+small profit. The market is still in a clear uptrend however volume isnt doing anything to suggest a trend is going to take off so felt okay with just waiting. On both orders getting into profit I did think 'should I let it run?' but I recalled the reason that im in this trade is because of a mistake.
