MT4 to MT5 Developer Needed

looking for an experienced MQL developer to convert our existing MT4 robot to MT5. The MT4 source code is available, and we need an exact replica in MT5 with identical functionality and performance.

W1 looks not good for a long..

I am long at the moment, but also quickly out if momentum to the downside should develop on H1

I'm personally not fancying this setup much - the weekly looks very extreme to me and a big pullback sounds logical.
Also the weekly did a rejection candle last week indicating it might be going down.

Here 4 hours later, from your post - price is still figuring out what to do - its been smashing support for the last couple of days on the 1 hour - so I think it's going to eventually smash through it - but I might be wrong.
I'm just not gonna play this one out

I think some of the best setups we will have to look for are those that indicates confluence on all timeframes - no rejection candles in opposite direction on higher timeframes.

But then again - its forex so it might just smash up taking out the weekly high - nobody knows

Yes, as I wrote previously, W1 doesn't look good for a long. I closed the position after downward pressure came on H1.

Traded two pairs last night in the asian session - I live in Denmark - but is a night owl, so often trade the asian session.
Traded CADJPY and AUDUSD

Had an initial loss of 1% on each pair - but ended off with a total close to 4% profit for the day.

On both pairs - I was behind on what was going on. Was looking at things mostly on one timeframe 15M. And didn't see some of the bigger things happening on the bigger timeframes.
The CADJPY trade was a misjudged MLV for a simple reentry on a larger timeframe and the AUDUSD trade that I wrongly thought was an early CSD was a liquidity sweep of an MLV on a larger timeframes.

It just shows that you can trade single timeframe's - but you sometime will get caught on the wrong side - but then you just flip everything 180 degrees zoom out and look at the bigger picture - and get in the opposite direction and you will be good.

But best thing is clearly to look at more timeframes than one - I was just a bit lazy.
Sorry for the messy explanation - it's much easier to do when your in the trade - than many hours later when price is all over the places

Just wanted to show that you can turn bad trades into good once if your awake. I could have gotten more % out of each trades - but I was tired and due to experience I don't like having smaller timeframe trades running when I'm sleeping and not able to monitor them.

This week has been a slow and messy trading week for me. I've decided to start adding Weekly trendlines to the analysis to increase the accuracy and avoid forcing trades. A learning is a learning week, nontheless! On the watch for potential setups for next week.

Hi HazzHazzHazz.

I have gotten another view on USDJPY at the moment - I am in a sell trade and currently up 2% aiming for 5% - Stoploss at breakeven - trade has been running for close to 11 hours now.

My analysis of this trade is that we have a REE setup on the W-D-4H time frame. With a M on the 1 hour.

Weekly price is in a downtrend at reentry zone - daily is at extreme 50 moving average - 4H is at extreme and made a rejection candle. On the 1H price failed to reach upper band and made an engulfing bearish candle that I entered after. My entry was 150.726 - stop above the 4H rejection. TP at 148.851

I might exit early if price does a rejection off the 4H 50m,

UPDATE: Manual Closed at 3% - the 1 hour looks really extended and coming down to support.

Amazing analysis, TranceGhost. I see an uptrend in the Weekly, so I am hesitant to sell USDJPY. But I do like you analysis!

Just saw this trading strategy today and I'm very interested even tho i cant try it since TradingView has a limit of two indicators, someone can code them togheter or already has an indicator for it?

I'm currently using an indicator called "BBMA Dark 2020 - Ext" on Tradingview that has all included as 1 indicator. It's free.

I understand your point - but I see that the marked failed to create a higher high on the weekly - making a lower high - indicating a potential trend reversal on the weekly. Also price has not reached the lower trendline on the latest trendline. But I did not really pay much attention to the trendlines - basically my entry was based off what was happening in the short term.

Entry on EURUSD - 0,5% in profit - stop-loss already at breakeven
Quick 1:2 trade to finish the day

Daily downtrend - 4H reentry - 1h extreme with failing bullish pressure - 15m MLV with csd reentry

UPDATE: Got stopped out at BE - but have reentered and is 0,5% in profit again at present moment with stop loss at BE
