I'm not an English speaker. Sorry. I'm using a translation tool so it's hard to read. I want to post my diary here. No, it's more like a record of my daily activities than a diary. I don't fully understand the etiquette of this trading journal, so this may not be a good thread.

I've been practicing trading for over 10 years, hoping to make a living from trading. I still can't trade well. I've read many books and websites, been taught by many teachers, and studied from many threads on this site. Still, it's very difficult for me to improve. I've tried many different methods, improved them in my own way, tested them, and found that they didn't work. I've never been able to build a system that I could trade with confidence, so there's been very few times when I traded with real money. I still use the backtest tool for MT4 to test my setups over and over again. It's driving me crazy, and I'm aware that I'm already crazy to a certain extent. lol

I'm just going to post my trading images here. As I said earlier, these are the results of the backtest. I think this thread is of no value to almost anyone. Sorry. For now, I'm going to post a lot of images without adding any explanations. I'll post an image with entries and exits on it. However, the display is small, so you won't understand unless you look closely. You may not understand what kind of trading I'm doing, but if you look at a lot of samples, you may understand. If someone is interested in this thread and talks to me, let's talk about various things. If you have any advice on trading, please let me know. However, I think it's difficult to incorporate all opinions, so I apologize in advance. By the way, I'm a Japanese living in Japan, so if there are people who like Japan, let's talk about that. Hey can I know your risk management plan like how much are you risking per trade.And how long do you trad one strategy.

I am currently in the testing phase, so I have not made any detailed arrangements. However, in the most recent trades, I have adjusted the position size so that the maximum loss per trade is about $50. Set a stop loss at the same time as entering, and if it reaches that point, the loss will be that much. Of course, I often confirm the loss earlier while watching the price movement. If I am confident in the entry, I may enter with twice the size. In that case, the maximum loss will be about $100.
I have not decided on the period of the test in detail. This is because I have not yet found a strategy that works well enough. lol I will try the strategy continuously for about a year, and if it seems promising, I will try it for another year, or test it with a different trading target.
I will post the results of a one-year test in the style currently posted here.

I reviewed your trade summary and here are my thoughts:
Your backtest results look quite good. Overall you are in profit but the consistency could be better.
Win rate is solid with a 58% win rate, but your Risk/Reward should be much higher with this win rate to become profitable.
When i see your biggest loss was $200 and your biggest win is $309, it is a clear indication that your risk/reward should be much higher. Your wins should be more than 2x your losses to create a favorable risk/reward ratio.
It appears that you control risk quite well. But overall need to improve on the reward. This could help to ensure that trading can become a primary source of income.

Just a note, I did not look so deeply at the screenshots. But I can see that you use multiple time frames (daily, 1H & 5m) integrate key levels, moving averages, Bollinger bands. But I don't see anything about market structure logic. Do you understand key concepts of market structure. Where are the swing points and key breaks in structure? How institutions move price and why price manipulates and where these liquidations happen and why? And in general, why price moves the way it does. Do you understand when price is bullish why in needs to pullback before continuing higher and vice versa? As in, how order flow interacts with market structure. And last, how fundamentals can affect the overall sentiment of the market providing shifts in order flow and bigger moves in one direction or the other.

So, this would be my question to you and potential area to focus on. Understanding market structure as well as basic fundamentals and why the price moves the way it does, can help you identify key levels (I mean real ones with value not the support/resistance lines that are drawn on your chart now). As well as anticipate areas to look for trade entries when you see the reaction you are expecting.

Not trying to criticize but trying to help. Hopefully it was useful.

Sorry for the late response. The backtest results posted here are true, but depending on the market conditions, there are periods when the asset growth is not as robust and there are periods when there is almost no profit.
I don't think I use knowledge of market structure, such as the one you mentioned, in my trading. I don't fully understand what you are specifically instructing. I don't know if we agree, but I think there are several ways to approach the market. The fact is that I currently trade based only on the advantages I can read from the charts, assuming that what is shown on the charts is everything. I could improve my performance if I made more use of information outside the charts, but I am not able to do that with my current knowledge and ability. If you have some tips that are easy to understand and can be incorporated, I would appreciate your advice.
On the other hand, I am thinking of trying a slightly improved method again, so I would like to post the trades soon. Please continue to support me.
