markets move Diagonally (aka trend) most of the time, it only move in Horizontal (aka sideway) range when it's ready to change direction.
this week EU moved almost 500 pips breaking 2 months highs, any move down will be a pullback not a fill.

How often do markets range?

it's a fractal system, same as candle's, they are big in high TF's and small in low TF's.
my comment was on his H4 chart and the trend/range in it.
if you go to higher TF , EU still in a range for the last 2 years.

Usually price may Fill the Gap half or full, there is no constant rule that The Gap should be filled fully BUT at some times it is seen that Price fills half of the Gap then moves ahead with Strong momentum

Bollinger bands are shrinking on the hourly timeframe, low volatility, no high impact news will be released today. Sideways maybe.

If it stay below 1.086 it might be sliding back to 1.081 area

If you can not see something on that timeframe, change the perspective. This helps alot. Do not force to stay at one timeframe all the time.
