One simple method is don't trade before news/data. You'll get pretty much chances later that.
Another sign is when you see range starting to shrink following by a series of red/green candles, then something big must happen later.

Well, it did NOT recover. And I had to learn more about risk management this time.

I gave up going against the trend, opened a buy position and I could recover some part of the loss.

Made some profitable trades after that and my account is positive again.

Im trading the news with a buy stop and sell stop
either way it goes you take your profit and delete the other sell stop or buy stop
since im using mt4 witch is known to hang upp during big news so im using my phone to close the trade and delete the other orders

Go and learn Technical Graph Analysis it could take years.Thise Fundamentalist are buch of shit .They know nothing about graphical interpretation and only go about War news.
If you know graph very well you will see news coming
