The Laguerre indicator is included in the TrendFollower.zip package. If you don't want to wait for the download in the rapidshare you can choose to download the mirror from luxinterior.
If someone has a website to mirror the zip, please post it here and I will add a mirror to my blog.
One thing that I have noticed on FF is that some of the people posting trading systems recommend certain setting to be used with indicators and go to lengths explaining why those settings instead of the default ones.
Once they post the chart images, you see completely different settings on the same indicators.
Case in point, MACD in the chart images show 9,18,9 while recommended is 5,35,5, go figuer.
So, which setting are the appropriate ones, and if different to 9,18,9 can you please show chart images supporting those settings.
This looks pretty straight forward and you did a really great job. I did notice that on certain pairs you get really great signals on the 1H charts and not only 5min.

If you compare the settings 9,18,9 and 5,35,5 you won't notice a really big difference, but still enough. (open two versions of the same pair, apply the template and change one MACD settings to 9,18,9).Through a lot of experimenting I have used this both settings and come to the conclusion 5,35,5 works better than the 9,18,9. This was optimized because of the need for MACD to be below or above zero at the time the signal alerts and laguerre crosses the line, but still takes the right amount of previous trend into notice (35). In the template we have the settings of 5,35,5 and in the manual I also mention this is the proper settings.
The Screenshots were taken almost a year ago, and this is the only minor setting that has changed in this time. MACD 9,18,9 to 5,35,5. So that is why in some pictures you will see this.
Seems to be a nice system but you have made it too complicated with so many Indicators. Its a good system for the experienced traders but complicated for the Newbies.
Anyway, thanks for your generosity. I hope most of us will benefit from it.
I agree. Due to so many signals I have the alert turned on off. It would be a highly beneficial feature for all of us if this was possible. Unfortunately I am not a professional programmer to get this done. I am only aware of the basics in coding. Maybe someone can help us with this, but the code should be quite complicated. It must be perfect, if it is not you should rather use your own manual judgement. Not everything needs to be automated.
The arrows on the chart are just alerts for possible positions? Not the signals themselves?
On todays GBP/USD chart the green lines stayed below the red lines all day...does this mean I would ignore all long signals?
Do we trade against the direction of the slope direction line?
I don't think there were any valid trades today on GBP/USD...were there?

Yes, the arrows are just alerts for possible positions. All the other criteria explained in the manual must be met before the trade is taken.
That is correct. No valid trades for cable yesterday.
Slope direction line is used for exits only, so yes we can enter a trade against it. It coresponds well with our black 34 EMA's (black lines). Those measure volatility and you can see if it bounces back from those two lines, the trend will usually continue. Once slopedirection line changes colors (at the same time the candle will probably close on the other side of 34 EMAS) we exit the trade. Or we Exit at pivots.
The only proper setup we had yesterday was on gold. You could also have taken a trade in usd/chf but this was a very hard trade and would only be taken by those who trade this system for a long time.
