My short position on Friday, but honestly I don't know where the price will go on Monday.
Hopefully more to the South so I can add some shorts.

wow really insightful . i usually try to find patters or ‘fractals’ in the lower timeframes especially 5min, 15min and 1H . (caz market moves in fractals oftentimes creating a small ripple and later intensifying it . the same way that it did this friday )

However, the point you added about Yearly IB could also be true . I had neglected the idea of finding patterns year wise especially, but this has given me a new perspective.

I'm onboard with the yearly Initial Balance, hard to find a year that didn't close above the open in fact.

Yes, I agree. At the start of a new day, I observe Blueberry Markets, and it lasts for two hours until the spread normalizes. Then, the Asian market begins four hours later, totaling six hours. But from my many observations, after the IB period, the price can move freely up and down, not just in one direction.

Well, rarely a new "original" concept in forex trading these days. I believe you won't "miss" much, given your millions of observations and vast knowledge, not so easy "miss" at least. Lel

I get where you’re coming from, but I think there’s a bit of confusion. Honestly, I only just learned about Peter Steidlmayer after you mentioned him, and I had to Google it.

From what I found, his Initial Balance concept is about using the first 1-2 hours of the day to establish a price range for that day’s market.

But my approach is a bit different. I don’t just focus on the first couple of hours; I use the first two days of the week, the first two months of the year, and the Asia session to spot key levels and trends.

The real advantage of this is that I’m zooming out to see the bigger picture. This helps me spot longer-term trends that might play out over weeks or months, not just the next few hours. The Asia session, in particular, is useful because it often provides low-volatility setups that are perfect for certain trades.

Different strategies work for different people—it’s all about how you use the tools and adapt them to your style.

Honestly, when you take a broader perspective, you can catch opportunities that others might miss.

I feel that my sincerity in sharing knowledge here has been misunderstood as a challenge or mistake by some. For that reason, I’ve made the decision: This will be my last comment on this platform.

The method she uses in fact is almost the same as ICT, the diference is the explanation and the understanding of each individual about it.
The problem why people become confuse with ICT is because he is not the best one to explain, because he overlaps concepts.

The power of three does not necessary mean that price start going down and then ends up, can go down, up and down and so on and MissD explains better i think.
Her explanation in fact show a consistent method, there are others and everyone should follow the method that best suite to our personality.
Both methods are similar to others concepts the way they view is another thing.
ICT also talks in ranges but because he overlapp informatiom people can not view the big picture easly.
There are many ways to be profitable, the big problem is when we don't work to know the methods well just because one day, one week didn't work we go look for another.
I talk many time that market have predetermined range, she is saying by other words the same but explaining how those ranges are built.

MissD explanation is not random or is wrong. In fact i believe she his totally right!
Applying her concept overlapping mine the big picture for next week become more clear...
A failed top means what? A run on sellside.
That little 4h candle at the top, people can not know, but it also failed to reach the range and the effect was downside.
Is easy to stay in the side of probabilities whem we know our method.
White box is her concept and there a lot of information there, just don't complicate. The secret is to look closely to the closes....

IDK about that, I was just pointing out the resemblance on the WEEKLY candle and how to determine the how the WICKS were formed, Monday Tuesday, and how to form the possible BIAS for the week.

It is a great video for that and that alone; as I said, it was 7 years ago.

All the controversy over ICT is about his recent style on very short time frames, absolutely no reason to bring it into the conversation, and the same for liquidity and ranges or whatever ICT teaches.

Wasn't about that at all, no one seems to have watched the video enough to give a sensible review of that.

Have you considered that no-one is interested in your opinion of what we should be watching and reviewing. Hey MissD. I used your strategy last week and it worked for me in perfect way thank you.
Don't mind a few know it all members here I'm sure a lot of newbie like me and pros here watching and using your strategy and insights (check Deal's post). You can just ignore those and keep up the good work here.
