The system reached 40.000 USC and we are at the new lot level of 0,03.
I stopped trading for the week as there are the Non Farm Payrolls this afternoon in the US.

The summary of the week will come soon.
There was the biggest drawdown so far and the biggest winning day in this week.

The worst drawdown of the system so far because of the higher lot size.
Nevertheless the drawdown on the myfxbook page hasn't exceeded the 10% level. Everything is working as planned until now:

On the other hand the highest profit of the day was reached within this week. Nearly 200USC.

From Monday I will start to increase the lot size to 0.03.

Crazy week so far with big profits and managable drawdowns in the last 3 days. Hopefully the system continues with this performance

Sounds like an exciting week! Consistent profits with manageable drawdowns is a great balance. Hope the system keeps delivering strong results—let’s see how the momentum holds for the rest of the week

As I mentioned, the last week was really good in terms of profit per day as you can see:

But as I am still trying to improve the system, so another rule will be implemented into the system.
All orders will be closed before Friday afternoon news (14:30 GMT +1) of the US and the EA will be disabled for the rest of the week until Sunday night.
This happened because of the move of last Friday:

It seems to be often the case that those big moves are happening in the last trading hours of friday.
The system did a good job and closed the orders on Monday morning with a profit BUT if there is a chance to reduce the risk, I will do it. And open positions over the weekend is definately a big risk.

week 08/2025:

Last week was a very boring and easy week to trade. This is where the system performs very good. No large drawdowns and stable profits.
Lets see what the last week of February can do - after the 100€ deposit at the end of the month, there will be soon the next lot stage achieved.

Trading Summary for 02/2025:

The system had a total of over 5.000 USC of profit with an average trading day profit of 251,10 USC.

There were some drawdowns which were completely okay.
The profits per day are increasing because of the higher lot sizes:

Let's keep going this way and see what the system does in March. The next lot size will be most likely reached in April.

week 10/2025:

Last week the system made a profit of 1.631 USC with an average profit of 326 USV per day.

Solid performance without a much higher drawdown. Like every Friday the system stopped before the red news from the US.

Hi Hofi, I think we have the same Strategy and I am using a Different system. I can't code but If you can I have a few suggestions to you regarding HFT for XAUUSD. Set a Trading Time and Trading Days for the system. Also set the Last Series of Trade to close on profit 1 hour before the Set Closing Time. Reversals usually happens on Monday Morning due to Piled up news on the weekend. So my Rule is to never trade on Monday. Activate by Tuesday 1630. My system strategy is reading the M5 chart and Trade execution on M5 with a distance on pips if reached. I would like to discuss more with you if you like.
