RickM, good stuff, but you know that we always disagree(on professional level) with these 2 points.
My point for newer and/or loosing traders:
1. Anything to do with volume is totally meaningless, including VWAP and all of it incarnations.
2. It is statistically more beneficial to go in with full position from the start and use Money Management trailing the full position, rather then add on positions to get to full position.
MindFuck is what 60% of the business is, controlling Fear and Greed, every new position is a Mindfuck on its own and with full position I am diminishing it...not sure if "missing X' is the same thing, most likely not.
Chart below is 2Min.TF Gold entry(in hindsight) circled and managing full position, as an example. Arrow ends when full position exits.
