H4 Outlook for Monday-Tuesday

  1. Bears are leading again... Especially since candles closed below 1.04...
  2. I have marked ~1.0405 area as my current nearest resistance and as long as below it, the trend for this TF is bearish.
  3. That said, of course we also have potential bounce-up spots along the edges of my purple descending channel, which slowly pierces into the retest zone roughly between ~1.0329 and ~1.0297.
  4. If price drops into this zone, we must be prepared for a double scenario: a bounce or a strong breakout lower. At those moments, don't allow your assumptions to ruin your gains! Definitely look for confirmations first, especially if you plan to buy the dips. Sellers however, can protect their shorts with stops positioned slightly above 1.0405 and keep trailing based on progress.
  5. Overall: I will stay bearish on H1 and M15 and keep selling the upper edges of my purple channel... I also might try to scalp long at the lower edges if I catch higher lows on M15. But selling should be our priority!

if there is no gap down ( dxy gap up ) on sunday opening then
we believe that eurusd will go up

never seen such a gap in all the years I've traded. was there a news event. i shorted 1.0435 Monday I usually don't use take profits. unless it breaks my 4 hr trend line. I'm up about 220 pips. wondering if I should close. confused?
my long term fib 23.6% is 1.0199. placed my target 1.0100

i would definately be taking something out..... maybe 70% ish and lock in profits on the remaining pal Brilliant trade well done
