Hi everyone! I noticed this thread hasn’t been active for a while, but I think reversal strategies are as relevant as ever. Recently, I’ve been focusing on setups with an excellent risk-reward ratio, and I’m seeing nearly 85% accuracy in my trades. How do you approach reversals in today’s market? I’d love to hear your thoughts and share ideas!

It's market sentiment. If most traders lose, then it makes sense to do the opposite of what they are doing. This rule can be incorporated into any system.

In my view, following the crowd (like going short when 65% are long) can be risky and doesn't guarantee success. You need a clear entry strategy, not just reacting to market sentiment indicators. The sentiment percentage you see (like 65/35) might be misleading and varies by source. For a solid approach, focus on understanding market structure, price action, and key indicators rather than relying solely on sentiment numbers. Always remember, timing and the reason behind the sentiment matter more than just the sentiment itself.

I’d be curious to know which particulr indicator you're using for your reversal signals on the 5-minute chart—how does it help you confirm entry or exit points? Also, do you incorporate any volatility or momentum indicators to filter out false signals, especially in choppy conditions?
