I have this week to overcome 0.19% to reach green for the month of January.

This is basically the finish line.
Surfacing from a deep dive into the underwater world.
I can already feel the warmth of the sunshine.

My 2nd account just cleared calibration with a score over 75.
If I can keep it up, I'll be able to get my first allocation right off the bat in February.

LOL!! I've been in the same position this month. Partially self-inflicted by some code settings. Fixed the issue and the algo started recovering immediately but this volatile week will be the true test of this new setup. Looks good so far and since activated. Good News/Bad News that it happened right before my payout date early next month BUT also fortunate that my 'next' payout will be a full 3-months of a better algo. Also my 100K payout is offset and happens in 2 months. So if I'm Good AND Lucky In 2 months I can get a teaser payout from the 100K and a NICE one the following month from whatever allocations I'm carrying.

Darwin added an INSTANT 100K allocation for $1130 (I'll stick with the 5% for $550). Also Lisa Forex (Youtube) said the next Darwinex update will allow you to buy up to THREE 100K allocations. So you could easily manage 390K per account. Knowing I could spin 2 accounts up to 780K. Thats $1,170 per 1% gain. And those are just baseline since I would expect to sometimes earn larger than 30K allocations at times. Darwin also mentioned that they're starting a Hedge Fund to invest in platform traders. The death of FX props has really put the spotlight on them.

I'm only 1.51% from my ATH so I have a decent chance of fully recovering since the algo recovered from the 3% drawdown dip since the fix and/or at least coming close to covering the 1-year fee. If I post close enough I'll just pay the difference to lock in algo-combo #1.

CONGRATS!! On your 2nd account. Mine is just middling along and my alt currency hasnt traded much while the drawdown pair was recovering. It should break into profitability before it ends calibration. For this account my primary goal is to have a low drawdown so its easy to meet the 2.5 Return/DD ratio. I'm McLovin' the 1.84% percent. I'd like it to remain 6% or less for the account lifetime. Since finishing the algo on August my max DD has been 4.48% so I wish my account reflected that. Even though my rolling Darwinex DD is only 6.76%.

I'm pretty curious about the risk ratio since I was deep-red my entire prior calibration yet ended up this 2.77 ratio. Hopefully I end calibration mildly green even though landing a 30K isnt off the table if my alt currency can swing into action this week.

Nice work. As I posted earlier this month, I stupidly over risked and blew up my 90K account. Was chugging right along at 2-2.5% per month and got a wild hair up my ass.
Started a new one 1/6 and completed Friday, starting with a score of 72 and made 0.396% today, so hoping the same thing, I can get an allocation for Feb.
Basically, being stupid cost me an enitre quarterly pay cycle. Good news is, I know I can pull 2-2.5 % per month, so I'll be right back where I was shortly.

Are the permanent allocations subject to the correlation rule?
If not, you could have 10 totalling a million and copy trade. The way I understand is correlation only affects your allocations not your performance fee, correct?
I still use the props (futures), but man, how I prefer to trade normal, non YOLO style.

This is the answer I got......

Permanent allocations are not directly subject to correlation requirements. However, correlation is an important factor when creating a portfolio of DARWINs, as it affects diversification. Permanent allocations are based on achieving a target return or purchasing an instant allocation, and they are independent of correlation criteria.

You are positioning yourself to reverse the flow of money from you to Darwinex. That's really the first goal post to reach in order to become a business with a positive net flow. I guess if you auto pay the subs, whatever you withdraw quarterly is pure profit. Speaking of which, that THA is amazing. If he makes 2%/mo, it adds up to 78K/mo in earnings. Wow close to a mil/yr.

That's unbelievable that they are going to allow 3X100 per account. That means 5X3=15. So, one can have 1.5 mil under management for under 6K? plus of course montly subs. That's gotta be the cheapest Rent-A-Capital program in the world. You get 250 times the buying power if you put up $600. It's hard to process.
Of course, it does require to be able to earn the money in those accounts. So, maybe only a small fraction of the world population can open that door.

I'm more interested in convincing myself to buy my accounts and earn my money on that. I have to see merit in buying my own 100K acct. lol If I can get those 100k's with 5 accounts or 5X3 accounts, I'll be very happy. I don't even care about my stats as long as I pay me with my trading. Stats are for investors. If time comes and an investor so decides to invest in me regardless of whatever stats I may have, then it's just a side bonus. If not, I'm running my own hedge fund in my microcosem of the financial world...and that makes me happy.

My risk/ratio came at +2 for my 2nd acct. But it can drop very fast as you know.

Thanks. Yes I know what you mean. Every time I've had the risk engine get really pissed at me has been when I decided to rock the boat. A new improvement, increase in lot size, trading a new pair, bla bla..it cut me down. It just wants consistency I think and sticking to the 0 risk line. Best is to keep constantly coming back to 0 risk % after risking a small amount. Small risk, high return is the trick I guess. DD would be just the antithesis of that. Just anything that results in a sudden jolt to the account...and I mean negative jolt, sets it back.
The feeling is truly like the term being in the dog house. And the slow climbing out.. This darwinex thing is such a mistress.

You know I was wondering...very much when you said you were going to put the metal to the pedal. That was when you were doing your 2/2.5 %'s.

As a prop trader, You'd want to really put the metal to the pedal to accumulate as much profit as possible in a relatively a short time.
That's how the mindset seems to be on the prop side.
At Darwinex, seems like 'little risk for steady little profit' seems to be something to aim for...in order to keet the risk engine happy.
So, I personally have learned to go eeeaaasssy...on that pedal. lol

If true, 3x 100 is great news, I would add right away. ( I mean 2x more, as I added the first one already). I am really satisfied with everything Darwinex does so far.
It will soon be like buying back stocks on earnings- just use the payout for fresh AUM.

Yes, and if you can buy 100K with no limits, you can have 10 for a million AUM. Every 100K with a 15% performance fee is like a personal 15K account. Even counting the time (@2.5% per month) it takes to hit the 5%, you are green in 4 months. Manage 1 mil and it's a $3,750/mo income stream
To compare to the casino prop world, for $500, it's like a one stage challenge with a 5% target. However, there is no DD rules at all, no news and/or other strat restriction, no consistency and biggest one......NO FEAR OF GETTING PAID.
Of course, there is the additional potential of seed allocations and/or investor money.

It looks like SILVER is more beneficial than GOLD (if no external investor is investing) as it takes previous history into consideration.

I agree with most of the things you are saying except:
With props, a 5% gain is a 5% gain whereas with Darwinex, you could be 5% up in your underlying account and -2% in your Darwin.
There is no dd rule? Really? You don't get a violation resulting in an end but it takes forever to dig yourself out of a dd with minute risk engine multiplier. It could take a year to drip by drip edge out your account. It could take a year which is the same $500 you lose at the prop for dd violation. Some even dump their account because of the steep climb out of the hole...as you know.

When it comes to Darwinex, traders should call a spade a spade.

Very true. However, that 5% could also be 7,8 or 9% in your Darwin. My last risk engine hovered around 1.35 until I screwed up. My current one is 1.48.
The entire point of Darwin, IMO, is responsible trading and risk...if you are trading responsibly, the risk engine will more than likely be multiplying you rather than cutting you.
Very true on the DD, no hard breach, but you will be penalized....kind of goes with my point above ....just trade normally and responsibly and you will do well with Darwinex.
So much less stressful...I place trades and walk away.....when I'm trading my futures prop accounts, I don't dare leave the computer.

that 5% could also be 7,8 or 9% in your Darwin only if you don't get even an intraday sizable dd. One slip and your risk engine cut is nearly permanent even if you go back to your regular trading with low dd. One more intraday and once again a huge drop in multiplier until your are just a bug crawling on the window.
That doesn't work the other way. If you get a large increase in your equity because of an intraday spike, the risk engine doesn't suddenly double/triple the multiplier.
It works like a criminal record. You could be an outstanding citizen all your life and one mistake ends up getting you a criminal record that could severly limit your life. Now if you go and feed the hungry, volunteer and do all sorts of good things for the society, your criminal record isn't wiped out automatically. You still carry the record albeit for 6 months or however it is calculated at darwinex.
So, never commmit a crime. lol
That's why you see some traders start and in 3 months have dble digit gains. They didn't just come across Darwinex and say oh, let me have a go at it. They are probably hardend criminals that are basically starting fresh in a new country. lol
