DislikedGeez, you've been asking about this quite a bit, and you didn't even attend the webinar?Ignored
Dislikedall trading messages are wiped out after a day and I don't know how to find themIgnored
DislikedIt's well-documented on these boards that they test new code in their demo environmentIgnored
DislikedThat's a real comfort. I suggest that they test their code somewhere else.Ignored
DislikedI was testing demo version of EFX Navigator, and this happened to me twice.
I couldn't close my open orders with messages such as destination unknown or something. (that's another thing, all trading messages are wiped out after a day and I don't know how to find them) Few hours later I was able to close my order.
In light of this I am very doubtful about using this system live.
As cumbersome as it is by itself, if it loses track of open positions at critical moments it hard to trust it with real money.Ignored
DislikedSomething really weird happened today with AUD/USD.
Below are my two screenshots. I'm using NY timezone (instead of my own timezone), to make it easier to see exactly what time this happened.
On my Intellicharts there was a spike downward to .8780 at the 20:00 (which is 8:00 p.m. NY time). For some reason the Intellichart feed was not coinciding with EFX Navigator, so I went to look at the FREE Intellichart site (http://efx.tradesecuring.com/misc/freeefx.asp) to check if that chart showed the same data as my chart.
When I looked at the FREE chart, I noticed that there wasn't a spike like my chart showed. I thought this was really strange, because why would my chart show the spike and not the other one when they should both be using the same EFX data feed.
Not only that, but while the spike was happening, I saw the EFX data go to where the spike went so I knew that it had actually occurred (I was in AUD/USD at the time, so I saw the numbers jump when the spike happened. It didn't affect me though, because my TTO wasn't hit by the spike).
Anyway, because my Intellichart wasn't showing the same data as the FREE chart, I decided to exit the program and reopen it to see if that fixed what I thought might have been a glitch or something.
Sure enough the spike disappeared and my chart now looked like Intellichart's FREE one (without the spike).
I then just dismissed it and figured since I didn't take a screenshot, I couldn't show any proof of what had happened.
Well, several hours later, I was looking at a different timeframe for the AUD/USD chart and noticed the spike back again. I flipped back to my previous timeframe and the spike wasn't there. I thought, how weird!
Anyway, this time I took screenshots, lol. I have them both at the same timeframe, so you can see exactly at what candlestick (see arrow) the spike shows and where it's not there (I took the "no spike" one first, then refreshed my chart to show the one with the spike).
So, did anybody else see/experience this?
Justin - why would the spike disappear for several hours then reappear? This is not the first time this spike-disappearing-act, lol, has occurred. It happened once before (a while back), but that spike never reappeared (or to where I had noticed, anyway), so I did not bring it up that time, mainly because I didn't have screenshots to prove what I had seen, lol :
*edited - Oh, I forgot to mention ... the FREE Intellichart also shows the spike now, lol.

DislikedI noticed you never got an answer to your question.
Why would it change after its close? Shouldn't it be closed?Ignored

DislikedI think this must be a matter of personal opinion, because I have never thought that while visiting their site, in fact I like the clear efficient layout.
Certainly improvements could be made, but I would never consider their site to be amateur.

DislikedJustin - please read this following thread: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=40516
Although it says "(not EFX)" in the original poster's title, this affects EFX, as well, since there is discussion about Navigator's security issues.
In April 2007 I had emailed you regarding someone else logging in as me and you had me change my password. It continued to happen even after the password change, thus I've been changing my password numerous times, lol.Ignored
