If you need 3000 $ in a month, break it down to weekly or daily target she says.

If you need 3000 $ for example, I will break it like this :
20x 150 dollars in a month.

If i need 10000 $ in a month, I will go with three different prop firms in three different accounts.

3 x 20 x 150 $ = 9000 $

Choosing a firm is important. Firms like tickticktraders.com i will avoid.

I will go with Tradeify, MFFU, and Futures elite.

Currently i have 2x100k account with futures elite. 1 x 50k account with MFFU.

Tickticktrader.com is cheating firm I will avoid totally and advocate the same to everyone

I calculate it by percentage, not by the amount of $.

I can't trade futures at the moment, maybe later. That's why if there's a broker-backed futures option, it might be more honest.

Only Monty was sharing his real time experience with multiple firms. Pros, cons, payouts, approvals, rejections including ban. He is missing now.

Most other guys were giving just opinions.

So, people need to trade with different firms ... come up to payout stage and then you will have real time experience.

BEAWARE... MANY CHEATING PROP FIRMS around.

on other hand you know, you are on the right path with trading style.. when prop need to start use cheap tricks to not pay you.

Maybe because of the widespread issue of prop firm hedging groups, that's why most prop firms are like that, even though it's somewhat unethical.

Cos if it is real funded account and you make profit which should be shared 80/20, 90/10 or whatever; why is it difficult for them to pay....?

For me, the only reason why they would not pay is, they collected your challenge money and did not fund you with real funded account when you passed the challenge and so, you make 4K thinking you are on a live account not knowing it's still demo you are trading or am I still missing something here?

The prop firms offering challenges today are not real prop firms but gaming prop firms. They operate using the B-book model, acting as data collectors. The revenue generated from challenge fees—after deducting spreads, swaps, trading commissions, and so on—is pooled to pay traders who pass the challenge and then manage to generate profits. Even broker-backed prop firms use the B-book model. These are not real prop firms that use the A-book model, forward trades to liquidity providers, or hire you to trade a live account after passing the challenge or screening process, and will provide you with a monthly salary, bonus, and profit sharing.

The profit potential for these firms is substantial because the wisdom is clear: 90% of traders will fail at least once, if not multiple times, throughout their trading journey before succeeding in buying a $100k account and earning even a modest 3% profit per month. Some above-average traders might be able to generate significant profits and receive multiple payouts before potentially being banned.

We take on some risk, and then transfer much of the risk to Prop Firm Gaming. Then this Prop Firm Gaming only take risks and hope for the best, sometimes without a solid financial model or proper, sustainable, and rational challenges. They merely follow trends until one day they commit fraud or scam traders, similar to the HYIP boom about 15 years ago, although there are also those that last long and remain sustainable.
