I have an idea for something more robust. Changing templates is reliable and safe and could be applied as follows (this would need a template switching indicator coding up that can switch templates after particular times).
Add your EA and template switcher to a chart and save the template as e.g. RUN.TPL. Add the CloseOnTimes and a template switcher to another chart and save the template as e.g. STOP.TPL. With times set accordingly in the switcher, the template would be swapped out to enable or disable your EA. Trade manager can still be on another chart doing it's thing when trades are running.
Just a thought as I wouldn't want to rely on the whole profile switching option.
