DislikedAfter closing all positions in the universal manager, it was still green. Working EA opened three positions and CloseOnTimesv1.1 closed them immediately. The safest option would be to manually switch profiles.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I understand. I would have to disagree on the best option being to switch profiles. It is unreliable so it's risky. I have an idea for something more robust. Changing templates is reliable and safe and could be applied as follows (this would need a template switching indicator coding up that can switch templates after particular times). Add your EA and template switcher to a chart and save the template as e.g. RUN.TPL. Add the CloseOnTimes and a template switcher to another chart and save the template as e.g. STOP.TPL. With times set accordingly...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I came up with a solution: Two MT4s logged into the same account and your EA on each.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I almost missed your solution, did you edit your post and add that later? So one MT4 runs the EA's and Trade manager which runs until your stop time then the second MT4 can take over and close out any trades left over by the first one? That sounds like a good solution and also importantly keeps everything reliable. Best of luck with your trading. Regards.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes, I thought of that later. It's even easier. I use two MT4s logged into the same account. Each has your EA. One MT4 has a working EA and the other has an EA that closes everything. By setting up your EAs, I can achieve any EA activation I need at the moment. I appreciate your work and patience.Ignored

DislikedI found a use for this myself and have updated it with a status message so you can more easily see the times when experts are enabled/disabled. You can use it if you like, otherwise, just continue with the first version. All works exactly the same in this one apart from the added status messages. Regards. {file}Ignored
