Yes, around 103,800 and it when up to 106,420 before it got hit hard by Bearish Delta.

I am not keen on trading BTC in the weekends because most pro's aren't there and anything can happen.
It seems a better fix to go long in the 90's and go short over 100 at present.

Hi RickM,
Is this also a vcp pattern? Just want to learn the nature of it, I like how it works.

Hi, that's why I said "just want to learn the nature of it". I wasn't going to take it, the point of question was getting advise about vcp pattern overall, but thanks for your comment, appreciate it.

Hi Ju4ara

A VCP pattern is only formed within a tight range - here we use a Bollinger Band Squeeze for this rule.

Therefore start looking for areas of low volatility before we can find VCP patterns

First 2 trades under my favorite President, respecting EMA 21.(under/over)

She(Dow) did not know which way she wanted to go but we got her at the end.

Relevance, I am helping to keep thread going, EMA 21 and a New USA President.

I took the trade, in profit now. I either wait for 5R profit or close the trade after price crosses 21EMA(I do take profit at 5R for not getting harmed psychologically).

Another vcp pattern with squeeze entry, correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm actually trading that Market presently (ES not CFD), can I give you my view.
AND of course its a historical chart so its easy for me to an expert after the fact -

The Squeeze occurred 18 bars earlier.
When I saw a Squeeze of a 4-5 bars, I go back and look for a rejection move.
1 - Rejection
2- Retest with a lower low (not prefect but good enough)
3- Now I want to trade this Third move down from the EMA 21.

I also want 1 - 2 - 3 to be close together which they were.
What do you think of this setup, I don't see a setup in your Trade because NO SQUEEZE (at least a few bars min).

I always place a BE Stop once it leaves and only use the EMA 21 once its move a reasonable distance.
I only starting trading around the time you took the trade so miss my setup. On ES, Profit would be around 15 Ticks.
Nothing great but still a nice start to the day.

Hi RickM
Glad to see your reply, it's the only way I learn something new about squeezes. Could you, please, explain why you looked for rejection before squeeze, waited for retest with lower low and only then entered. Also, there was squeeze on my screenshot with 3 candle duration, isn't that enough?

P.S. you said about BE SL, how many candles or distance you wait before placing that stop?

What about this setup from earlier this month? Maybe not A+ because price pulled back a little further than ideal on the third leg, but you can see price exploded shortly after the setup. High compression squeeze started nice and early and released with Momentum.

Seems nice to me, but there was no signal to enter before break of resistance, then it would be A+ I guess.

I like thus setup. Multiple bounces off a strong resistance area. Diamonds signaling retests. Buyers absorbed? Then price starts to enter a high compression squeeze , after squeezing for a bit. VCP pattern appearing now as well and I would expect an explosive move soon.

I like to wait for a release personally.

You can see a couple strong support zones below that we could use at TP, which we would create a great RR assuming price breaks to the downside.
