HFT Scalping to Long Term Success – The Freedom Scalper EA

Hi,
this journal should track my progess on my way to be successful with my system. I try to reflect my progress in detail here in order to generate a certain value for each individual follower. I would like to encourage my ideas to be repeated. But it is primarily intended to show my trading progress and be a trading diary for myself.
In my opinion it is really important to have proof of a trading system. Therefore I always attach my trade explorer with live results. See my profile for more information.

System:
I am using a high frequency trading EA, only on Gold (XAUUSD) with a lot of trades per day. The higher the volume the higher the number of trades. On average I place 3000-4000 trades per month. It is really important to have an ECN account with low spread which I have with my broker and a reliable Virtual private server (VPS) Server.
It is some kind of grid EA with the same lot size when opening new trades. I am aware of the danger of grid trading therefore the risk management is the most important thing of this system.

Risk Management:
This is the most important part of the system. When trading a Grid EA there will always be drawdown, especially huge drawdowns when there are big moves. This is why I use a big capital with small lot size (in the beginning I am using a Cent account to control the risk per trade).

I am receiving a bonus from my broker for every deposit; this is also the base for choosing the right lot size. I reserve the right to change the lot sizes if the drawdown is too high.
I saw in the past a lot of wrong risk management. It is really important to control the risk.

Starting point:
I am starting with 100€ on a Cent Account which is equal to 10.531 USC (USD Cents). To grow the account much faster I decided to deposit 100€ every month for this year, to have a overall deposit of 1.000€. Therefore, I am able to increase the lot size more often. On top of that I can expect a profit of 1.000 USC for every 0,01 lot. So, when increasing the lot size the expected profit will also be increased (compound interest).

Goal:
Every project needs to have a timeline and a specific goal in terms of profit. I divide this project into two different steps:
→ First Step: Increasing the Cent Account to 10.000€ (which is equivalent to one million cents)
I started in November 2024 with 10.531 USC and aim to have 1.000.000 USC with a monthly deposit of 10.000 USC (until December 2025) and an expected profit of 1000 USC per 0,01 lot.
This means that I will achieve one million Cents in January 2028 - which is equivalent to 10.000€.
→ Second step: Open a standard account with those 10.000€ and repeat step 1

Profit for today so far.

I am aiming for 50 USC on average a day.

January 2025 goal achieved:

Target 20.000 USC - Real Balance 22.649 USC

Happy new Year everyone.

I closed the last trades from last year and opened the first trades from this year.

I am within my trading plan in terms of balance and the account will break the 25.000 USC soon which will result in an increase of the lot size to 0.02 and an expected payoff to 2.000 USC per month.

The goal for the end of 2025 will be about 200.000 USC which is equal to 2.000€.

The first week of the new year is finished and the profit was 183,63 USC.
As there were only 4 days of trading the expected profit would have been 200,00 USC. But the volume was a little bit low in the beginning of the year so the result is okay.
There are 4 full trading weeks ahead so I am confident to reach the 1000 USC for the month.
Furthermore I will reach the 25.000 USC so I will increase the lot size so 0,02, the expected profit per month will be doubled to 2.000 USC in the future.

Monday is here and the system goes for profits! Let's see if we can reach the goal of 50 USC Profit for today!

Target reached

There was a lot of luck today as the news went in our direction.
We made over 100 USC with just 0,01 lot.

As the balance is over 25.000 USC now, I will increase the lot size to 0,02. Hopefully Trump won't cause that many big moves in the market

As the system is now trading with 0,02Lot, the expected profit per day should increase to 100 USC. I'll watch it closely if there is any difference when changing the lot size.

Reached the 100 USC for today. Looks good so far with the 0,02 Lot!

The second week of January is coming to an end. After increasing the lot size to 0,02 it was a very successful week. The EA trades the same way just with more profits (and with a potential higher risk).

As you can see the biggest drawdown came yesterday after the NFP News. On one hand I made a lot of profit, on the other hand it was very risky. Therefore I will think about skipping the news and turning of the EA on every Friday before the news are coming.

Good start so far for the new week. A little more than one day is over and the sytem already reached nearly 200 USC.

Profit for the week 429 USC. There were some big moves as you can see on the equity curve, But the system managed to deal with it.

As always in the following the summary of the last week.
It was a very good trading week with no bid drawdowns.
The system reached more than 100USC per day every day of the week:



The overall result is a profit of 618 USC.
The goal for the month will be more than 2.000USC which will be reached in the last week of January.
With the deposit of another 100€, I will soon reach the next lot step of 0.03 lots.

It was a very tough last week of January. But the system still made profits.

As there were some big moves on Gold, the system suffered some drawdowns. But when looking at myfxbook, the drawdown is still below 10%.
Unfortunately I did not reach an equity of more than 40.000 USC, therefore I still need to wait a little bit before increasing the lot size. It is very important to stick to the rules.

The goal for February was 31.000. The current balance without bonus is 35.206.
