Great week this week with the shorts and a good start to the year at 3-0. We are still looking to target the 0.99237 area on EURUSD before expecting any significant movement back upwards, so will have a bearish bias until then or until we see a change of structure on higher time frame. Hope everyone else had a good week!

The NFP released yesterday made the USD volatile, the EURUSD pair fell quickly and hit target profit Happy weekend all.

Weekly Outlook (Update)

  1. So far, bears did a very good job to fill the anticipated big void that I started to mention a few months ago...
  2. I must note that price has arrived at Alternative 1.27 AB=CD level: 1.0224.. Not a guarantee, but levels like this could trigger a bounce up!
  3. Another reason to sell carefully around these lows is that the structure looks like the wave C of an ABC correction of wave B (or wave 2), which might have ended (or will end soon) to trigger a wave 3 (or wave C) up. Too early to tell yet, but I have these gut feelings...

Anyway, long term speaking, that's all I can see for now...

on daily chart, there is a clear Break to the downside and it can make ABC pattern which may end at 1.0023.

So what can be reason to make U turn from 1.02 to 1.04?
2025 already started with fake news about trump ( FT news a few days ago)
it reminds me on 2010...

Sure... that's the DAILY and what you are underlining can happen..

BUT I posted the WEEKLY.. In trading, larger timeframes always rule over smaller timeframes. Always keep that in mind!

Just learnt that this afternoon while back-testing. Figured out that not paying good attention to the higher TF zones & areas makes me miss out on buying/selling opportunities.

Update...swing range 0238 - 0269 if 0269 caps we potentially see the floor at 1.0177
After falling last week, EURUSD seems to be consolidating as seen from the small candle-formed parallel formation near the lower band line.
