Back to weekly open. 130+pips up, 150pips down within 3 days is insane.

Happy new year all.

I am trying for a long at this location. If the Weekly manages to become a bull candle of any substance imo we could be looking for a correction of the current down trend in the long term.

Here is a previous chart posted with my area of interest in the blue and then the current same chart. This happened during my weeks off but I am seeing bull interest again on the ST charts.

And we're ranging. Tight support and resistance. I had my stops too tight and got stopped out at the top of this range. It was till a good profit but I should have stayed above the resistance. We'll see where we go from here. If we break below 1.027 I'll look for a pullback opportunity to get back in. For now on the sidelines.

Since candles opened below 1.0366 bears took control.

But momentum dimmed around 1.0290... I see no fresh breakout to either side yet... Bears have the upper hand while below 1.0333.. Let's see what happens when bulls retest that level...

Overall, it was a day of strong dips and I keep trading extra cautious!

As long as the price remain blow the 1.338
There is a likelihood that it could move down more

Only a bounce through 1.376 can help eur/usd to begin a short term recovery with a possible bullish trend.

EURUSD seems to be consolidating near the middle band line, ahead of the FOMC minutes trying to bet now.

Meanwhile, on H1...

  1. Bulls tried to break above previous breakout level: 1.0319, but no success... (per rinse & repeat system: it was a good opportunity to sell)
  2. For now: As long as price is below 1.0319, bears will try to break below ~1.0290 and bulls will try to break above ~1.0319...
  3. Until either of the sides attack, we probably will be left with dull, sideways pa!
