i agree with you, but trades taken from an historical CE were taken in the past, f.i. see post 5774, 5752 ...

historical ce or early entry is more risky that's all.
especially rewarding at news time if chosen direction correctly.

Exactly, it's not realistic for the exact same trade to be taken by same system followers. The human brain is the thing that is in the way, not for failure, but for the extreme differences in thought, personality, upbringing, experience etc, etc...

Hi ITM, I am hoping you can provide some feedback on a specific area I am am stuck on. At the moment I am demo trading and many times I identify the HTF zone, then I go to LTF find an engulf for confirmation, then go to further lower timeframe, find confirmation engulf also and all of these engulfs fail.

In this example below – H4 bearish engulf, 30m bearish engulf (confirmation), then several 5m bearish engulfs but all fail. This last part is where I am really struggling and need to place my focus more, I think.

And again, I want to thank you for all of your replies it is really helping, I feel like I am getting close!
